what are your levels? I beated without much trouble, if your having a abd time i suggest you to go and train in the Thunder Plains Dungeon where you found Cid the machina there give some good exp points, also train Dark Knight or the Samurai dress sphere

if i was you i'd train a little bit more up to level 60 or something like that, Rikku should learn Alchemist, Paine should get DK, and Yuna would be good as a gunner, if you want to rush it learn the Ability Charon from a DK dress sphere and get Cat Nip from via infinito, and equip it on Yuna and use happy trigger when you have low hp

Are you joking, this is the easiest FF there is.
I just have all of them as Dark Nights or if you have it all as Mascots.
I really dont advise things like White Mage and Gunner, just go for all out offence

i agree, but i so think that the only truly hard part of this game is the via infinito and possibly angra manyru and experimental, (when i beat these i was only lvl 50-60 and i hadnt really worked out a strategy for them and got my ass kicked until i did) but everything else was easy

Vegnagun is easy. I beat him first time round, although I almost ALMOST failed on the last battle, but the ending was worth it.

yeah i liked the ending, but i just noticed in the credits that somone did the voice of seymour...i didnt even no he was in it...im guessing he was one of the voices when you fighting vegnagun? but i thought it was just jecht, auron and yunas father

Slash - Once you beat Shuyin, you have done the game
Aurons Ghost - I thought the fight before Trema was pretty damn hard as I didnt think Trema really gave me any threat of dying but with the fight beforehand I thought I was always on the edge of death

I thought i was pretty easy as my characters were all on level 99

Shuyin is a joke, I pity anyone that loses to him. Slash --- Seymour speaks in Baralai's Sphere, which I'm guessing you don't have yet.

Baralai's sphere was pretty boring as it only showed Baralai and Seymour back in the time of X.
The only sphere I aint got is Gippals sphere, can anyone tell me what happens

I kinda liked Baralai's Sphere, sure it was just Baralai and Seymour, but it was an intriguing bit of politics. But maybe it's just my cup of tea, though.

Gippal's Sphere you receive for pinning Rin as the culprit in the Mi'ihen Highroad investigation.

***** SPOILERS *****

Gippal's Sphere displays as "Jackass" in Shinra's display. When you get it from Rin, Paine calls Rin a jackass and he says he'll take as a compliment. In the sphere, you see Auron talking with Gippal during the time just before the Guado invade Home. Gippal suggests that Auron maybe oughta lay low. Gippal says that he's tired of running from Yevon and he's thought about fighting, but he'd probably look like a jackass for even suggesting it. Auron tells him that only a jackass can change the world. "Good call," says Gippal. Gippal says to the person recording the sphere that he's going to pick a fight with New Yevon and then the recorder says "Oh no! The Guado are attacking Home!"

You can read the full script at the Rin's Mi'ihen Mystery Guide at GameFAQs by Split Infinity.

How do you pin him as the culprit? I've gotten Rikku once and the Chocobo eater once. I read somewhere that you have to either get Rikku, the fiend, or Cali as the culprit or else you wont get a sphere. (dont remember which one it is tho..)

its very complicated, and pinning rin doesnt give an episode complete in chapter 5 for mi'ihen, try gamefaqs, ive got a load of stuff about it from there cos i dont think the guide is very clear about how to do it. i could post what ive got, but it'll only be a very summarised version of whats already there

Im in Chapter 5 now, and i already pinned the Chocobo eater as the culprit. I guess I'll give it a shot on the new game +. What do you still have when you do the new game+? Is it just the DS's and the garment grids?

Duality

effectively all non story specific items, so i think you only lose the crimson spheres, a couple other spheres, and of course you return to lvl 1, i cant remember if you lose anything else

Social Distortion --- I recommend both the GameFAQs New Game Plus and Mi'ihen Investigation guides to find out the answers to your questions.

On the Rin thing --- in brief --- you must talk with an Al Bhed woman on the Highroad in Chapter 1 who's reconfiguring some machina. In Chapter 2, complete Cuckoo for Chocobos as if you were trying to pin Rikku and make sure to win Sphere Break in Luca. I think you also need to visit the travel agency and see Rin come either in or out, although that may be in 3. In 3, you need to succesfully defeat at least 8-10 groups of machina and then make sure to view Rin in the crowd during the Mission Complete display at the end. Then return and set Shinra's dropped CommSphere. Finally, in four, you do some things that would normally be related to the other events, but eventually manage to catch Rin messing around. After a certain point, you call him repeatedly until he just doesn't show up anymore.

That's the gist of it, but it's about impossible to do without following a detailed guide like the one at GameFAQs. And if you make even one mistake, you're toast and you will not pin Rin.

You lose most things in new game +, except your items, your percentage, and your dresspheres.

And your Garment Grids. And enemy oversoul information. And the character bio information in Shinra's station.
