*bleh* I didn�t really like this poem too much� in fact I REALLY don�t like it. But a friend of mine saw it and sorta liked it so I decided to see what all you people think of it. :D
... so what do you think of it?



Fallen Angel

Why am I here in this palace of light
Where all is so clean and so fair
All that surrounds me is pure and white
And my shimmering soul is laid bare

My heart struggles here in this ivory cage
It longs to be immersed in dark
Just once I wish to give into my rage
And take on the ebony mark

Eternity�s shining luster turned bland
I shatter these crystalline walls
Rise up and in evil I�ll take my stand
And plunge into sweet despair, longest of any falls

I look back up into the brilliance of light
And sigh at all that I miss
The dark did take me from my plight
But again my soul longs for light�s bliss

that's lovely tessa... it's beautiful and has a nice mood... plus it rhymes well... some people feel compelled to rhyme and it really screws up the poem but your rhyming is perfect and really adds texture to the poem ^-^

I think this is a beautiful poem. I have no idea why you don't like it. The lines are just so beautiful, IMO.
