Im in Memoria and im not sure if its possible to go back and try and enter the main world again or is just not possible and would be a waste of time trying?

You can go back, just get back and in the exit of Memoria they ask if you want to board the Invincible, the problem is that you can't enter most of the Towns in the world map, just the Mist Continent Ones, Daguerreo and the Chocobo places, the rest is locked

SMALL SPOILERS AHEAD

Once you get to the final area in Crystal World (just before you fight Deathguise and Trance Kuja), there is a save orb with an extra option - it asks if you want to warp instantly back to the Entrance of Memoria, rather than having to hike all the way back, making it a lot easier to return to the World Map even if you're at the final part of the game.

Just be aware you cannot warp back to this location from the outside though - you have to walk the long way...

I think you definitely want to exit and go back, especially if you still haven't beaten Ozma, completed card-playing, done chocobo stuff, or any of a number of other things. Not to mention that the best leveling-up options are in the main world.

After that point where is the best place to level up, the best place I know of is outside of Daugeurro where you fight a monster what I think is called the Red Dragon

Wrong, it's Grand Dragon and that's a bad place to encounter them because you also find Gimme Cats there. You want Popos Heights --- there you always fight Grand Dragons unless you wander into the forest areas. And the other good place to level is Vile Island with the Yans, but that's a lot less reliable.

If you haven't heard if before, then I guess you haven't completed Chocobo quest either? It's a large island near the Memoria tree. It has absolutely no coastlines (so you need Invincible or flying chocobo to land on it) but it does have a mountain and a forest.

Right, Iifa Tree / Memoria. And if you've found most of the treasures, then you've probably found Vile Island, except on the Chocograph it's called Fairy Island. But just land and check your menu.

Well, those that have been around a while tend to do so. It's just that it gets a bit odd when something has been dead and old for a long time and then suddenly it's back again. Especially if it's a thread asking for help and the original poster has long forgotten about the topic, or in this case, been banned.
