My fave game being FF, and me just learning PHP, made me think: I'll make a web based FF game.
(yes, i have to change almost everything for copyright issues)

This is what it looks like so far:

The finished version will have images for the Wolf and the player (but nothing will actually move).

I'm wondering how many people would like to play a 'not-quite FF but close' web based RPG game?

I've not got much left to code for island 1. Just some weapon shops the quest page. Then if people want, they can beta test it and help me make it feel good :)

PHP doesn't really seem like the best language to code a game in.

I commend you for giving it a shot, though everything would be much easier in Java or C#.

Think of my game more as an old style dice and paper game and less of a new max graphics game. Then php works fine for it :)
