And by that i mean the likes of Burnout, GTA etc...

I`ll have to say GTA:San Andreas. Not as ott as Vice City, the San andreas soundtrack suited to mood to the many aspects that the game could offer. And with the introduction of KROSE, who couldn`t fall in love with it?.

Granted, these non-original soundtracks are mostly terrible but what`s your favorite?.

San Andreas is a pick for me due to WCTR being hilarious..

I assumed you meant non-original as in like orchestrated / vox'd / arranged / piano'd.

if you were asking the above I would've gone with pray. but I have nothing to say because most commercial music in games tends to be rather silly !

I'd have to say Burnout Dominator has a great licenced soundtrack, but so does Crazy Taxi 1 for Dreamcast. Don't forget Crackdown now...

I didn't like the game much, compared to the two prior and other games on the market at the time, but the music blastin' on the rock station in San Andreas kicked my ass. Soundgarden, Stone Roses, Alice In Chains, Helmet, Jane's Addiction and more all in one game? Hell yeah.
