Having voted for Vincent, I still have to say that most of the cool chars. were not in the poll at all, most notably the Turks, Aerith, and Kadaaj. Rude and Reno added a lot to the story, and the President had a little flair of his own. I'd pick Reno as my fav. char. here.

I have to agree with you there 1256 with Reno and Rude but in the pole I picked Sephiroth because when you see him properly for the first time and the original music starts kicking in that is one of my favourite bits

They pretty much all school. One of my favorite things about FFX when it first came out was it had plot and characters as advanced as a movie... in some ways the plot and chars of AC are more like a video game, but even if in this movie they're not presented with as much depth, since pretty much FF people are watching we know their personalities, giving them the depth they lack on the screen alone. And after that, these chars are pretty frickin awesome. From Cloud's foolish stoicism to Vincent's mysteriousness to The Presdent's, well, I don't know how you could describe Rufus, all these characters are mad ill.

I know it seems stupid and Cloud is way overrated than need be....but guess what....if anything....Cloud is underrated. I mean Sephiroth is just plain crazy awesome, and yes, when "One-Winged Angel" kicked in I got the goosebumps.And Vincent looks so dark and creepy and cool with the guns, cloak, and quiet foreboding nature. But when it all comes down to it, I am just a complete sucker for unnecessarily-giant weapons, especially swords. Like Cloud's sword. No offense, but it IS way freakin cooler than Sephiroth's. I had to pick Cloud. He's the main character and the most powerful.
Simply put, Cloud is the coolest and most interesting character out of all the FFVII characters. If I could have any one of their weapons', it'd be Cloud's. Even if I couldn't wield it, it'd just be plain awesome to possess something like the Ultima Sword.

Like Cloud too, but my favourite is Vincent. he is an interesting character even if he is optional in FF7.
