It's a good idea and personally I don't think you'd send viruses (can video files even transmit viruses anyway --- in any case, I have a good virus scanner). However, I think you're going about it a bit the wrong way --- people are a bit lazy sometimes --- they don't want to have to send an e-mail. Why don't you just ask people to post here if they want a video and then you can send it to them. They'll have to post their e-mail addressm, or if they're uncomfortable with posting it publically, they can PM it to you, or they can take the complicated route and e-mail you.

Incidentally, what sorts of filesizes are we looking at for the videos? That would be helpful to know for people on 56K.

Why don't you just tell people to request a scene here than mount it to some video hosting program for free...I forget the names...I think fileshare is one maybe? Hmm theres a few out there, never done it myself so im not sure if it would work, just a suggestion. :)

there is a freeware program that will make your PC able to read the FFIX CDs and get the FMVs. I used that to get the FMVs for making an AMV, it's a nice program.
