...so, i've recently killed S-F having had a fair bit of trouble with him the past few days, and the way i did it was refreshingly easy and i haven't seen this method on any of the guides, so if you are indeed about to throw your PS2 out of the window (which i was about to), try this out first; (you'll need Kimhari to have picked up the 'Big Guard' ability when fighting those other Ronso's (can't remember their names)).

charaters i used: Auron, Yuna, Kimhari

firstly, battle a bit around the save point just before you fight S-F to get Lulu to learn Bio if you haven't already, and use a Blk Magic sphere to it to Kimhari. then, get every Aeon you have (at least 5 i should imagine, by this point) to get their overdrives ready (easy enough, all Aeons have to do is blink to charge their gauges) and buy a few Holy Waters from O'Aka (i've noticed some of the guides tell you to buy enough to put Zombie Ward on everyone's armour, don't do this though, it's quite useless believe me). finally, charge Auron and Kimharis overdrives too and you are ready to fight.

as soon the fight starts get Yuna to summon Bahamut and then Bahamut to use its Mega Flare attack. that'll take between 10 and 11 thousand off, and make that thing Seymour is riding on take a further 4,000 away. Seymour will then banish Bahamut straight away. now, get Kimhari to poison Seymour (this will then take 1,400 off him everytime he moves) and get Auron to do his overdrive move. this should take a further 7000 or so off (depending on how much you use Auron). Seymour will now use Lance of Antrophy, counter this with a holy water on the affected person if the next persons turn isn't Yuna's. Then, summon your next Aeon (doesn't matter which) and use Overdrive to take off 9,999. then Seymours buddy will take off 3,000 and poison will take off 1,400. after this, get Kimhari to Big Guard and use a Hi-Potion on whoever got lanced on Aurons turn. Then, have Yuna summon the next Aeon, overdrive, that takes 9,999, then 2,000, then 1,400.

Seymour will probably now do 'Total Annihilation' which would probably wipe everyone out, but for the big guard (that's why it's essential for this method). now use a mega-potion and Summon the next Aeon. repeat the process again and you should have gotten him. if not he'll only be a couple more ordinary attacks away.

also, at some point, seymour will use Shell and/or reflect. don't waste your time trying to despell him, as even with these on the Aeons do 9,999 ith their overdrives.

hope this helps.

Thanks for the time and effort for that mate, but you really didnt have to go through all the trouble au. There are loads of walkthroughs available online.

I'm always using Wakka, Auron and Tidus(Yuna) , so i cast hasteage, and the total Annihilation pluss the Cross Sword thingy do not wipe the party away as longest you use mighty guard (Kimahri's overdrive)

Well some boss fights took me over 20 attempts, and during all those i had to get rid of my mistakes and make a perfect stratagy.

Can you get an "Overkill" on Seymour Flux with an attack of 9999?

I just used Yojimbo's Zanmato, so much easier, and quicker.

Easy way out I guess.

So what if he got it wrong, cool down man. Build a bridge and get over it, give him a break.

Yeah, what the hell was with that outburst, might I suggest finding something better to do with your time than giving people crap for a spot of bad spelling.

what? quick kill S-F? Use Tidus, Auron, Yuna. No need summon, just use hastega first , let yuna hit (if ur yuna str 120+ can hit about 2~3000) and let tidus and auron use normal attack with ultimate weapon and S-F should died within 2 or 3 cut

In every boss fight I use all my characters so they get the full load of experience points in a fight.
Although that has nothing to do what we are talking about

I made have said in other threads that I use Zanmato on the Dark Aeons but aerithluva69 using it on easy battles like him, your just wasting the fun of the game
