Has anyone beat Nemesis? If so got any tips. Hes the only thing left i have to do/beat...

What is Nemesis? I may have battled it and not bothered to find out its name.

He/she/it is the last monster in the battle arena. You have to

1. Find 10 of every creature in every location. While doing that you unlock more creatures,
2. Beat all of the Creatures in Area/Species/Original Creations
3. In doing so it unlocks the last space in the Original Group, Nemesis. A normal hit takes off 99,999.

Yeah that seems to be what everyone says. Hes just to damn hard.

I never bothered spending all that time collecting all of the monsters. If that is what you have to do, then I would guess he's damn hard.

I thought that was one of the best things about that game. I love the Monster arena, out of the 132 hours i have played this game i would say 50 hours or so has been collecting the monsters and fighting them. Alot are damn hard even with your final weapons. The Area owner gives you great prizes for collecting them and you level up alot quicker. My spear Grid is Done...100% filled up, Tidus/Wakka/Auron/Rikku are all done. NEMESIS IS THE LAST THING I HAVE TO DO.

All I meant is that I didn't like the way FFX played, so I just set my sights on beating the game as quickly and efficiently as possible. I did collect a few monsters though.

Before the battle get all your characters overdrives full
you need a very high agility level, i had 190 or something like that. cast hastega as you need it. use quick hit not normal attacks so you can fit more in. im assuming youre dealing 99,999 damage per hit here, if youre not, dont try him until you are. Whenever his turn arrives bring in yuna to summon an aeon as a sacrifice. You can also use wakkas attack reels which if you get all three reels lined up you can hit him for about 1.2 mil damage or so. I cant remember anything else off the top of my head.
I recall that he had some sort of status' he could put on you but no idea what. Also, when you use an overdrive he'll counter attack, so be prepared.

If your saying can you save inside Sin, then, yes there is a total of 3 save spears in sin.

Then Quick Hit him until his turn is about to come up and either swap for Yuna or if she's in your party use her last turn before his to summon an Aeon. Nemesis will take out the Aeon, but will leave you with pleanty more turns. Repeat 5-8 times and you win.

THANKS dude. I beat him just the way you posted. He didnt even hit me one time. On top of that he drops Break HP Limit armor...Great. It takes a long time to get enough Wings to Discovery. I have maxed out all but luck on my spear grid with everyone. Each person with a Break HP Limit armor has about 37,000 hp...Thanks again dude.

1.Get the ovedrive for everyone and AEONS and also auto-life and hastega
2.Try some luck with yojimbo use his zentosuken(one hit ko skill)

He's the only one I have left before I get to Nemesis, and I'm having trouble with him. I'm not all that leveled up, though. My strongest party member (Auron) only deals about 47,000 damage. My weakest (Kimahri) does about 7500.

Ok you need

1.Someone with a Break Damage Limit Weapon. (you do)
2.The person with that weapon, Either take the time to make a armor with Auto Shell, Auto Haste, Auto Protect, Regen......If not be sure to cast all 4 of those on the fighter with the Break Damage Limit.
3.He will not use the Eraser if there is only one fighter left, so, use escape on the two of the weaker fighters (prob Wakka and Rikku)

After about 5 min's fighting, he's done.

Your tips worked wonders! It took me less than 4 minutes to beat him. It twice that long just to die last time I fought him.:laugh:

Seriously, as mentioned earlier though GameFaq's is perfect for FF tips and guides.

When in doubt use Yojimbo.

You can`t use Yojimbo on Shinryu cos only Wakka, Rikku and Tidus take part in this fight.

No, I passed out with boredom long before I got close to fighting Nemesis.

:laugh: :laugh: Same, I really didn't want to collect all the monsters from everywhere and then grind for hours to defeat the bastard.

FFX was really easy with the turn counter. :(
