This seems like a neat little add-on for all you Zelda/Halo lovers. Zelda Online was created using the Halo engine and The Ocarina of Timea graphics. It a team based deathmatch in which you will eventualy be able to fight against other Links in your favorite OOT areas including Hyrule field. It`s unfinshed but worth keeping an eye on although i believe you can download an early version of hyrule field which is currently online. I haven`t tried it myself, you need Halo on the PC and the Halo map editor, which is free and which can be found on the "download" page.

Zelda Online:OOT (http://www.projectzeldaonline.com/index.php)

It`s shaping up to be a nice game indeed.

Yeah, they got it pretty much perfect but the weapons have Halo-like graphics and the first person has a Halo HUD..

So... If this is like the orginal game, but they have upgrade it better and stuff, will it be possible to play 1 player and play the storyline again?

No

All it is, is a Zelda deathmatch. They could only do this with a diffrent engine and in this case, the Halo engine. There`s no Halo guns or props, just 100% Zelda, apart from the weapon aiming etc...

Read the website, email them. I don`t know all the details but let`s just sat it`s looking pretty neato.

Btw, when it is out, it`s free to download. Like i said, i believe it`s possible to download hyrule field at the moment.

even though i think halo is overrated horse manure. i support all types of modding. its how i got to enjoy my many years of tfc/cs/fa/dod/ts on half life. so i hope they have fun with it. i still remmeber the failed goldeneye mod for half life. had so much potential too.

I'd probably be a lot more excited about this if it was trying to change the actual gameplay, instead of just the levels and character models.

Mind you, the Hookshot idea is pretty neato.

Also: they should be making this mod for Half-Life 2, 'cause larger user base than Halo PC.
