what is your oppinion on naruto in english...i myself, being a japanese watcher before it was translated, dont like the english version.

Well, what did you expect on tv? If you want it uncut, you have to buy the dvds.

I read the manga and the anime... The normal anime ain't that bad. But the fillers! OMG! I nearly kill myself just by watching them:notgood:

I do enjoy the Anime, in japanese. If i started watching the English (or should I say American) Version I would have to wait ages to catch up with where the Jap one is now. And I bet the voice acting sucks as it usually does with these things.

I know! Listen to have they pronounce words like: Jutsu Sensei Naruto and all things like that! God my ears nearly started bleeding!

Yeah, regardless of which version is better, they both rock in comic relief! Naruto is the most idiotic moronic thing to hit television. (Let's NOT include George Bush.)

Nah-ru-to is the proper way to pronounce Naruto.

Most dubs are pretty mediocre, as a rule, but there's nothing especially terrible about Naruto's dub. People just like to whine.

Naruto's voice in both languages irritate me, but I prefer the Japanese to be honest. I've always found that they tend to murder some anime with dubbing, unless they put a lot of effort in to find a really god english voice actor that fits the characters.

I've heard Naruto in both and I have to say I like the Japanese better. ^^

I've watched a few of the episodes on Cartoon Network...in four words...don't waste your time. The manga is good though.

No I think that he is still Kakashi. just everything sounds stupid, so ya don't bother watching the American version. Stick with the Japanese Version.

alot of animes are dubbed more than once. usually if you buy/obtain animes with dual audio, the voice acting may be more.. suitable, and without edits of blood, etc..

kinda reminds me of book-->movie transitions. there's alot lost from the original mangas.

I hate how they pronounce all the japanese names wrong, and the voice acting in general sounds fake. But it's better than other dubs I've seen.
I watch the fansubs (that is, I did until the fillers got annoying) and read the scanlated manga. ^ ^

Oh if you have the means to watch it in it's orginal state, then go ahead and do so. The dubbed version was meant for the people in the states who can't get the Japanese version.

There are no good dubs. Only tolerable ones with a few exceptions like Cowboy Bebop, Golden Boy, and possibly Hellsing.

Also - Kakashi Gaiden begins at Episode 200! Yay!
New Generation at Episode 204! Yay!
