Actually, neither spelling is completely correct, although Harlock is the more accepted spelling. The Herlock spelling only came into being when merchandise for Rintaro's original series was being made with that spelling on it. Rintaro decided to re-use that spelling when he made the most recent series, but it is by no means the "true" version of the name.

Anyway, I'm a huge Harlock fan, so I added Harlock Saga to my DVD collection instantly when it became available. It's probably my least favorite of the things the characters have appeared in though, mostly just because it wasn't an original story. That's not to say it isn't good though!

sweet hosana. calm down. both are typing errors. origionally all of the harlock
series would have been called shorlan. it just happened that they changed the name to make it sound better. and harlock saga was my topic for an art exam which propelled my status at school to ultimate weirdo. but that just made me like it more. sheesh, now i need to calm down...... :-(
