yes, it is very annoying. It annoys me how they sometimes show no regard for the international fans. You would think by now they would be better at planning release dates considering they have been in the industry since the 1980's.
It would be a dream come true if they organised their release dates so that both japanese and english versions of whatever they release are around the same time. I am sure S-E have lost quite a bit of money because of their delayed international release on Advent Children, because by now alot of the international fan base have downloaded the movie and might not be buying the international release because they already have a copy of the movie, but then again, i might be wrong.

I personaly like the animations in their original dub and with subtitles. The English voice actors always sucked ass. They usualy used the guy who did Leonardo's voice on Ninja Turtles for the lead characters voice. He always sounded soft and fruity to me.

Not really. Think about how many people are not going to buy the movie now simply because they've downloaded it and burned it onto a dvd, or bought bootleg copies of it. And then consider that there's people like me who would have bought it just looking for some neat eye candy, downloaded it when it didn't get released here, and found that it isn't even good for that. At this point, I will never watch it again because it easily ranks among the worst films ever made.

Of course, if you're a hopeless fanboy with no eye for what really makes a movie good, you'll still love it.

It seems that there's finally a street date for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children!

As reported by Loki of Orange Lounge Radio on Dec 2, 2005:

"We here at Final Fantasy: Advent Children Central, errr OLR have been patiently waiting for this movie to be released in the USA. Well the word straight from Sony Pictures today is the movie will be released on 3/28/06. An official announcement will be released on 1/9/06 regarding this. It looks like it will be available in a 2 disc special edition as well."

I already saw this movie.It was 1 month ago.I think it's cool.I think every fan should see it as soon as they can.

any idea as to what is included in the dvd? do we get the short 30 minute FFVII anime too? (forgot the name of it), and will it be marked as a limited edition, or special item of some sort?

I havn't been here in quite some time (for reasons i'll explain later) but that is exactly why i came back, to post that amazon.com link. I think square has no release date and amazon shot for the furthest date possable so nobody is let down.
