I just beat Schizo (the two headed dragon thing), and i am at the next save point after that. The two compulsory characters (Tifa And Cloud) are at low hp and MP, but i can swap RED XIII for someone. I do not have any tents, so i can't use them. Everytime iu verse Jenova Death i get beatem quickly, is it worth heading back to the blue crystal thing that restores your HP/MP? Becuase i tried to go there when i first beat Schizo, and a blue dragon (actually green) appeared and i couldn't escape (not a side attack).
What should i do?

use cure on all of them...and then they run out of mp use ethers...and if that fails...use elixers/megaelixers

Or all the potions and hi-potions you have.

It should really be hard use cure+potions+ethers+ megaelixirs/elixers

Oh man, thats the worst spot in the game to be unprepared =\

I would head back and get your hp/mp restored. Besides if you get attacked by a dragon they sometimes drop good armor and also give you good experience.

Solaris

But he has low Hp/Mp. How would he survive one battle?

Do you have phoenix by any chance at this point of the game?

Also you can get pheonix on the PSX game at that stage. That map that you get is f**ked up.

At the first save point after you beat it. There was mostly cliffs.
If it helps here are the charcters i can use:

Red XIII lv 34: Medium hp/mp ( both lv 2 limits)
Vincent lv 38: Full hp/mp note: limit break (1) isn't too helpful, seing the others will die quickly.
Cid : lv 38: Full Hp Mp. Limit 1
Cait Sith 33: full Hp/Mp limit 1
Yuffie 34: Full Hp/Mp both limit 1's.
Barret 34: Full Hp/Mp both limit 1's.

as for Tifa and Cloud
Cloud 41: Low Hp/Mp. (both Limit level 3's)
Tifa 42: Low Hp/Mp. (both limit level 3's)

i have all the summons you can get so far, and most of the magic.

Use Yuffie, especially if shes nearing her limit break. Because then you can use her limit 1 break 'Clear Tranquil' I think its called and it will heal your party.

Red XIII is another choice or you can take your chances with Cait Sith.

You might want to build up your partys levels before taking on the next boss.

Bossses, yeah i am doing that. I want Barret's 4th limit break and i don't want to pay 50,000 for ultima.

Do you know any good places i can level up?

Solaris

If you do the Huge Materia quest right you don't have to pay so much for the Ultima materia you can get it for free.

Good places to level up are around the Mideel area, the Gelinka ship, and any islands off of the main continents.

I found that the forest right before the ancient city is a good place to level up, or if your to the gelinka ship already that has some of hardest non boss enemies to fight.

Mt. Nibel is a pretty good place to level up for disk one. But that would be a trip back from the cliffs

Once your up in the cliffs I don't think you can get back.

Oh! Thats right! Unless you pass out and awaken at the old mans house. Then walk back to Icicle Inn and back through the Forgotten City and back to Bone Village and Ta-da!

I dont think ive ever crashed the corel train :S
When i pull the levers it ALWAYS go faster when im playing. So technically it should crash right? If your going faster you'll have less braking time. But it seems to stop :S
