ok theres one thing i need to know...you no when you go back to the shinra mansion after the life stream?...you get a little flash back of Cloud and Zack...is this before or after the incedent with Sephiroth? because on both stories Zack gets wasted and i was under the impression Zack died under the hands of sephiroth at the nebel reactor.

Edit: also does anyone know why they gun down zack and leave cloud

Zack is only injured by Sephiroth at the reactor.

Wasn't Zack put in a tank afterwards and how did he escape from that tank?

Zack and Cloud are twins, that explains why they're BOTH idiots. The only difference is the hair color. Though, Cloud isn't naturally blond, he died his hair so people could tell him from Zack.

Cloud ran away leaving Zack behind. Thus began Clouds guilt and feel of worthlessness. Which is very important in AC.

Yes, very true. Although the game was filled with more plot holes than a monty python sketch, Clouds past was always the one that was almost never there. I hope in AC we will find out the questions we`ve bben asking for quite a long time.

Maybe he was going to see Tifa or he was dropping Cloud off.

But the question is: If they are running away from Shinra why go to Midgar of all places?

Because Shinra is too f**king stupid to look for them there.

Then they were probably Mercenarys looking for work in Midgar outside of shrina. I can't remember but maybe Zack said he found a job in Midgar.

and the reason they were felling to Midgar is because in FF7 everywhere else is run down by poverty and Midgar is the only place for work and safety....

For those of you who want to know more about what happened to Zack (and happened to have missed out on the hidden flashback with him and Cloud), you should watch Final Fantasy VII: Last Order, an anime OVA episode that came bundled with the Limited Edition DVD of Advent Children. Well Last Order has Zack as the main character and re-creates the events of him (and Cloud) fighting Sephiroth at Nibelheim, aswell as that hidden flashback where he eventually gets killed.
