Emo has become a pretty ambiguous term. It was originally was a kind of cool sub genre with some neat bands but now that it's trendy its been pretty warped and none of the bands sound anything like the early emo bands and the definition of the emo sound has changed.

Hell yes!!! I was the one who made the first thread about the Used cos i think that Quinn Allman is AWESOME!!!! Bert is excellenty too, jeff is one crazy kid bass player and i love them and their songs - all of them!

agreed - Flea from the Chili's is a awesome bass player using all that slap bass shit - wheow!!! lol people who say that they need shot in the head most likely havent herd any used songs like a box full of sharp objects and blue nd yellow - all amazing songs!! theres more but my crap memory cant remember!

People dont like emo because the bands dress aggressively yet sing so effeminately. People consider them showboaters.
