haha if im correct, its only for a couple of days. think about it, you go back to the shinra mansion later on in the game, Cloud has a flashback of Zack and Cloud in a truck and Zack explaining that he's gonna be a mercenary. after the flashback is over, you head over to the two containers int he bottom right hand corner, you press O on each and it says something like day 3 we escape when we get fed, or something along those lines

Well......If you do it right you only need 6 materia equiped.(thats between all the characters not 6 each)

Ok got it (i think) Tifa and Barret=dead.Next w-summon,master summon +hp absorb,Final Atack+life2
and master Command on Cloud.And in battle i yoused hero drink and after that w-summon kotr and Mime the summoning. Thats the way i defeated him

W-Summon, knights of round, maybe a MP Turbo and Mime with only Cloud alive. Assuming KoR does 9999 with each hit (because of the MP Turbo) and assuming you don't die lol, you can kill him in 4 commands, because KoR does just under 130k each time, and W-Summon being one command would make it do just under 260k. Ruby has about a million HP so 4 would do it. I did it in 4 but i was just proving it.

That wont work cause Ruby will counter with Ultima that does 7000+ damage and to heal yourself between using KOTR it will take more commands.

Dead tifa and barrer.Have them equiped with Mime both of them.Battle begins and youse Phoenix to revive.Give them hero drink and youse w-summon kotr......then Mime continusly Mime= 9999dmg each hit and absorbs 9999hp

Go in with 2 characters dead,both with mime equiped and one with Hades aswell.Have Cloud alive with phoenix and w summon-KOTR.As soon as the battle starts Ruby will put his arms in the ground so he cant use whirlsand now.Use pheonix on the arms because he counters with ultima.Next use Hades on Ruby whch paralyzes him so he cant counter or attack you.Now use w summon-KOTR and mime it with the other 2.

So thats 5 commands:
1.Pheonix
2.Hades
3.W summon
4.Mime
5.Mime

Nah mines the quickest cause theres no need to heal or any real risk of death.The arms are the only things that can hit you cna he'll be dead so quick they wont do much damage.Try it out.Thats exactly what I did.I never used any Hp absorb materia before.
