Yeah, so a week or so ago I ordered FF9 off of Barnes and Noble only to discover I had accidentally ordered the Playstation version instead of the PC version. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the Playstation version was the only version, so I decided to get an emulator after several moments of cursing Square's douchebaggery. (Sure, they put all their SHITTY games on the PC, but the ONE GOOD 3D FINAL FANTASY? NO CAN DO!)

Now, the emulator. WHAT THE SHITTING FUCK. I had to download at least 7 different plugins and DLLs, according to the tutorial, and it STILL WILL NOT FUCKING WORK. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO PLAY A FUCKING VIDEOGAME THESE DAYS???

search for epsxe if i tell you anymore ill prolly be banned so just do that and calm the damn hell down.

FF9 wont work normally, it has a special lock out feature (as does FF8) basically you'll need a patch to get it to work, I can't say where from though.

Well when you consider the fact that I've been posting on this incarnation of the board for almost four years now, it's not that hard to believe.

by the way, ive answered the question of how to get it to work, in a personal message.

basically you need a patch and you get get one from a website somewhere and put it in epsxe patches folder and then enable it via options.

epsxe wont play the music very well, infact compared to 8/16bit computer emulators, playstation emulators aren't very good.
