Well, I'm lookin' for tips. The one I really like is to train hard at the beginning of the game to be strong at the end...

It`s a little vague don`t you think? Are you looking for good areas to train in? A certain region in particular?

Hmm tips tips... In the beginning make sure to be around level 20-25 by the time you leave midgar. Have spells at level 2, level 3 if you can. After that just make sure you gain about 5-10 level in every new area and you'll be fine.

I am usually only around lv 13 leaving midgar and I still kick ass!

Cool place to level up is the forest near junion.Thats where I learn my limits. The monsters attack you in fives so use chocobo/mog to kill em all.

Learning the aqualung enemy skill helps a lot, You'll find it on the sand part of the world map after you get your buggy. It's sometimes your strongest move but takes a lot of mp to cast.

whenever possible before a boss fight, fill up your party's limit bars. the easiest way to do this is, when possible, go back to north corel and, in a sheer act of what would usually be suicide, repeatedly get blasted by bombs on the bridge. when added with level 3 and 4 limits, this method can usually get you through to about half way through disk 2 being able to defeat most bosses with 2 shots

Buy as many hypers as you can as soon as you can cause your characters limits go up twice as fast in fury.

Only drawback with fury is they have a higher chance of missing, not a big deal just food for thought

They do miss a bit at first but thats nothing a bit of leveling up can fix.

I only tried tha my most recent time, but before hand, I've been on level 16 and still had level 1 magic when I left Midgar, this is a little exaggerated don't you think?

Nahh, if you want to be ok, just train a few levels each area, have a few level 2 magics by say, Nibelheim.
You need at least 1000 HP for Materia Keeper.

Keep yor characters in constant fury, this increases strength, and chance of getting more limits.

Thats advice from rapture is pretty sound but havin level 3 magics before leaving Midgar is a bit extreme So try goin with wat Rapture said and remeber to work on ur limits

The bashed up road before wall market is a great place to train early on. Usally train till your bolt 1 with an all materia linked can take out all the scorpians in one go. Also wall market is the only place that sells high potions for quite some time so the training is worth it for the cash also to purchase many of them.

Its not actually hard to get all of clounds limits learnt on this road either.
Better still, bolt+ ice 2 can be attained here also.
Is a super spot early on, with the inn nearby also.

You just gotta hope you get combat with the scorpion things and not the stupidhouse monster tho, cos that gives crap exp + gil.

Also, at the start of the game, when you first get to buy materia, BUY TWO CURE MATERIA! It is invaluable later on in the game imo.

Your right about the cure but the houses arent that bad.Their attacks can fill your limit bar(fury) so their good for gettin 2nd limits(cross slash).

Yea but compared to the super speed you can take 5 scorpian things down with a bolt-all, and get more gill and exp as well makes you, if you spend long enough lvl'ing there, grow to hate the sight of the house's. But yea, they do make you get limits a little faster maybe, but that small fact does not outweigh the advantages of the scorpian things imo.

I totally agree with you on the scorpions.Just sayin the house was alright too for limits. It is shit for leveling up though yeah.

Another good place to lvl after you get the Tiny Bronco is the part of Mideel Island that you can land on, and before it is Mt. Nibel, good EXP there, and the dragons give good AP. I think I over-killed the lvling, I just got onto disc 2 and my Cloud is lvl 52, he normally does around 2000 dmg with his Organics Sword. The reason I'm still on disc 2 is because I'm hunting Alexander Materia (I CAN'T FIND THE DAMN PURPLE WOMEN!!!), can anyone tell me where she is?
