I did one of these a while back for FFIX's "Melodies of Life," so I thought I'd do one here too. What's everyone's favorite instrumental variation of "Eyes on Me?" My personal favorite is "Tell Me" --- the piece that plays when Squall and Quistis are in the "secret area," but I also have a soft spot for "Ami." Honorable mention to "My Mind," which is considered by some to be Rinoa's theme. And finally, I've always liked Balamb Garden.

Anyway, you can vote on the poll and post any explanation here. I've included all of the instrumental variations of the song I know of on the poll, but if I missed something, than you can post it here too.

I've always liked Waltz for the Moon, Julia, and Where I Belong. All three of them are good. I can listen to them for hours.

I don't know the songs by the name, of course I know eyes on me and some of his variations, but i dont know their names...

I assume that they're all midis since liberi fatali and eyes on me are the only non midi songs in the game(I think...), so... can't you put some links to those songs?

I like Ami :) And I like Tell Me, but I like Ami more :) I guess I kinda like Waltz for the Moon, too, but it always makes me grin when I listen to it because it reminds me of Squall's terrible dancing before he just suddenly starts breakin' down with Rinoa :p

I voted for Julia as I have a play count of 100+ on that for my computer, I adore that song, but Waltz for the Moon is certainly my other favorite, I really love both of those, but Julia is my favorite.

Dipe --- you mean you're not aware of the FFShrine's very own MIDI collections?

Well, okay, I'll give you a direct-link: http://www.ffshrine.org/ff8/ff8_midi.php

Enjoy listening! (And then you can tell us which one you like best.)

Oh, and yeah, I rather like "Waltz for the Moon" too, but I like the other ones I mentioned better.

Thanks Agent0042, I'm kind of new in this forum, so it's normal that I don't know of many things ;)

Hey, no prob! I was just putting on my pretend-incredulous act that you hadn't fully enjoyed the many wonders of our site, etc. etc. :D

So have you had a chance to listen to them now? Have you made a choice?

Every "Eyes on Me" arrangement is decent. Typical Uematsu Compositions. If I had to choose between the song "Eyes on Me" or the arrangements, i'd choose the arrangements because the song is just utter crap

Instead of getting the midi files, you can now get the actual mp3 ones from Galbadia Hotel. Oh wait, no you can't. At least, not any more; I think they took the FF MP3s off. Strange. Well, I got my MP3s from there, I wonder where they have gone?

I guess they rotate what they have available. Anyway, you do realize you're responding to an old thread? I'm not sure Galbadia Hotel was around over two months ago when this thread had its last activity.

Whoops, sorry I'm new (wasn't aware), ok well thanks for the reminder. Maybe I should start a thread when the GH mp3s come back online?? (PM me)
