Hey! I was wondering which is better InuYasha or Gundam Seed? (1st question)

Okay whichever one you answered to there is a second question here it is:

Which charicter is better? (2nd question)

Okay, now pay close attention! In the first question if you answered Gundam Seed choose out of the Gundam Seed charicters and vise versa if you chose InuYasha!

InuYasha charicters: InuYasha, Kagome, or Kikyou?

Gundam Seed charicters: Athrun, Kira, or Cagalli?

Oh go away. We don't do random "which is better" threads around here because they're boring. Also, don't compare a reasonably good show like Gundam SEED to a crap show like Inu Yasha.

It isn't crap it's a good show. If it wasn't getting alot of people to view it on however many stations its on then they would take it off air. I like Gundam Seed alot. It's like my favourite show. It was just a fricken question.

well my opinion probably wouldn't count because i haven't seen gundam seed. though i do own athrun's transforming 1/100 gundam model kit (which is a pain in the ass because it has trouble standing when i give it cool poses. and its pink!)

and so i would base my opinion of the show based solely on the animation. which i think sucks compared to Gundam Wing. and so i think the show sucks.

now take note. that i'm sure if i actually saw it from begining to end i'd prolly never shutup about how awesome it was. but since i haven't, until then, the show sucks. :p


on the other side of things. i have seen a GOOD number of inu-yasha shows. (not all of them. but also not so few that i don't know who's who, whats been going on, and whats up). so i have a very good idea about practically everything and so far i love it. so that's my fav. :p

and my fav character is probably seshoumaru. he's a badass. if i had to choose from your list, i'd say inu yasha. i love big giant swords.

Gundam Wing had terrible animation. I've only seen bits of Seed, but it seemed a bit better.

And there's no reason to compare Gundam to Inuyasha. If you really like both shows, just go ahead and really like both of them instead of trying to decide which is better because they're not alike at all.

Just to clarify for Tact and Rezo (who probably don't even care, but I'm doing it anyway!), Gundam SEED's animation was well above average for a tv show, especially one of its length. I'm not particularly fond of the character designs and the glossy colors, but it's hard to fault it on any technical merit.

Jumping topics, I've been watching Gundam SEED Destiny lately and I'm finding it really remarkable. Seed did a fairly decent job in some regards of restoring Gundam to its roots, but didn't go far enough for my tastes. On the other hand, Destiny has matched the feel of Zeta Gundam very well. Also, it's really interesting seeing Zakus again.

on the animation topic, i'd consider lupin the III's animation to be spectacular and its like 10 years older and has faded colors. so i guess it IS those glossy colors that bother me mostly. don't know why. well i can't complain. at least its traditional animation. not like CG mecha. oh fuck i hate those so much. any anime with CG mecha should just DIE!

they practically ruined Macross with it with Macross zero. wtf! grrr. and i'm still very sceptical about that appleseed remake or whatever. bleh. i'll rent it first.

The Appleseed CG movie is just a bad movie. I wouldn't even rent it =\ Ahh man that thing dissapointed me so much as I really like Appleseed(only Shirow thing I like actually, though I haven't read his other old comics like Dominion)

I wasn't really interested in tracking down Gundam Seed, but of what I did see,though I didn't really find anything really wrong with the story in what I did see, the art style really killed it for me. The style really didn't seem to fit the content. =\

crap. thats hard. i knwo for sure hellsing is better than the old movie. but the new bloodlust looks even more insane. i've only seen music videos though. i orered the movie last friday and i'm still waiting for it to arrive in the mail so i can watch it.

so i'll let you know about bloodlust until then. so for now...hellsing. :p

gundam seed...yay and its gotta be cagalli..like tact i like hellsing as well..but i suppose i havent watched much of InuYasha..so i cant really talk

Gundam Seed.....and I would go for Kira :)

inyuyasha is the most boring anime ever the only good part about it is the ending theme, gundam seed is way better kira is awesome

I would have to choose InuYasha because it is one of my favorite shows. But i haven't gotten a chance to see Gundam Seed.

My favorite character would have to be Sesshomaru. He's awesome! But from your choices InuYasha because Kagome's ok, and Kikyo is, to me very annoying. (no offense to anyone who likes Kikyo and Kagome.)

Actually, Inuyasha has Died down due to a sucky ending and a poor plot. But SEED also died because of Destiny's recent events.

Perhaps Clowtrigger would like to point out what exactly is so awful about Gundam Seed Destiny, hm? Please remember to mark spoilers appropriately.

A few years ago, I was addicted to Inuyasha... but then it started getting repetitive (much like Ranma) and I eventually stopped watching it. Gundam SEED on the other hand, was gripping throughout the whole series, and it didn't drag on like Inuyasha did. Well I haven't seen Gundam SEED Destiny yet but either way, I still prefer Gundam SEED.
