I was fighting, and with Tifa I was doing 9999 damage at level 78 with her strongest weapon. I also have her level 4 limit break. I used her limit break. Then all of a sudden she got really weak. I don't get it. She did around 100 damage, then 300, then 700, now she does like 1000, and every once in a while 2000. Wtf? Is this a glitch or something? This is in all different battles too.

well it powers up if you get at least one miss on the limit break, so maybe it powers down if you hit her limit perfectly until powered up again. other then that there is no plausible explanation

But would it power up and down until other changes, or does it only affect the current battle? Cuz it's like all of a sudden I'm using a weak weapon and such.


I did a little testing, I loaded an older file and she was fine. Either this is supposed to happen because of something, or something glitched her stats and now they're saved like that. Hopefully it's not a glitch. Anyone know what could've caused it?

Wait, you said that it veried over different battles ("This is in all different battles too"), so dose this mean that you were fighting different monsters etc? because if so then the answer would be simple (sort of). It could have veried because of defences changing, Levels changing, and could have some thing to do with elements.

No, it's the same monsters, but it's not like it was some kind of status or something that would last a battle. Every battle I got into after, she was just weak. Same monsters, and it's not defense or something, cuz my other guys still do the same damage. I don't know what happened, but my friend played this game many years ago and said he had the same thing happen with Barret. I'm guessing there's some glitch in the game that weakens your characters like that? I don't know, but I hope I can fix it instead of redoing all this leveling up.

Just if anyone cares, I found out the problem, Premium Heart's damage is relative to the limit break bar. That's why it happened right after I used her limit break, it went back down, so did her damage.

then how did you do all that dmg? it would have to be a full bar would it not? if so, then she couldnt attack right until she got her limit back up, but then she would have her sp and would use it, not attack...

The reason maybe that the slots don't allign. Well actually I've played it and when mine does limit break her attacks mostly go for 8889,7595,9999,9999

The Premium Heart is only good for limits.You can hit for 9999 with only HITs,but the weapon does a lot less damage normally.Thats just the way it is.So it you rely on limits stick with it,otherwise take the next best,but if shes leveled up enough I wont do much less damage for limits.But more importanly 60000 FUCKIN POSTS!!!!!!!!I mean does he have a life.While I dont spend a huge amount of time on the internet,he musent spend a lot of time asleep.
