So this is one.

I just got back from seeing them. It was really awesome, and a little depressing at the same time. I love them even more these days than I have in the past, and I had to pay more than I'm used to to see them (not saying it wasn't worth it) and I had to go to a venue I really dislike (no reentry after you're in, trying to block people off from getting right up close to the band, etc.) and I didn't like either of the openers at all, but I was actually way more into their set than I expected myself to be. My attitude in the past was "it's not the sort of show where you dance or move around much, so there wouldn't be that much point in my going", but this was their first ever headlining tour and I just felt like it would be really cool to be a part of that at least. I'm really glad I went. They're very cute on stage, the way they act. You can really tell they're siblings just from the little comments they make at each other. And they sounded REALLY good. I enjoyed it more than I was expecting to.

The major disappointment of the evening was that I didn't get to talk to any of them. I'm not sure if this is because they never talked to anybody or not. We had to leave to catch the last train back, so I didn't get to wait around to see if they would sign stuff and talk to fans. This is really sad to me because I wanted to get Sherri to sign my shoe. It's becoming a tradition. But maybe I'll go see them again sometime and get a chance. It would be nice.

Anyway, they were awesome and I'm glad I went. Go see them if they come through your town. Really, try to see them on this particular tour because they get to headline and they play a VERY long set. It's just really cool.

EDIT: Oh, amusing tidbit! According to Sherri, they were offered the chance to go on tour opening for Hilary Duff. The whole audience laughed when she said this. It was great.

they arent coming anyplace around me and i had to miss them last time cos of play rehearsal (and they were 15 minutes away) =(

supposedly they love to talk to their fans and are really nice about it. they might not on this tour, but on the one with newfound glory and reggie and the full effect they always hung around their merch table after their set while the other bands played.

That's what I've heard, which is why I'm really sad I didn't get to talk to them. I bet if I could have waited around they'd have come out. But also, maybe it's different because they're headlining this time.
