So something's bothered me for a while... every commonly-available rip for Shinobi X on Sega Saturn sounds very poor. I remember getting one from this forum actually, years ago, that sounded accurate but low quality... like you could hear instruments clipping and other quality issues. The one on Zophar is higher quality but innacurate, meaning the instrument sounds are crisper and the track is overall cleaner, but the levels are really spotty. At this point, I don't know which is accurate.

Would anyone have the audio for this? I love Richard Jaques and this is one of his most impressive soundtracks imo.

Actually I'm referring to the European version. The original Japanese version is titled Shinobi Legions. When it was brought to Europe it was retitled Shinobi X and given a new soundtrack courtesy of Spencer Nielsen, and that's the soundtrack I'm referring to. :) Although I definitely wouldn't mind both. Thank you regardless, you do a lot of rips and your generosity is always appreciated!

Just giving back to community. Whether it is thankless or else.

Hey bro, here you go. I did not manage to rip them but those guys in hcs have done a magnificent rip of both of them. All I got to do is juicing up their sounds a bit using Soundforge

Tell me if it is to your satisfaction as for myself, the sound is already quite nice and pleasing to hear after juicing it up.

Thanks for going out of your way to do this! Unfortunately this exhibits the same emulation problems that the current Zophar rip does, for the same problems alluded to in the included textfile: The current state of Sega Saturn FM synthesis emulation isn't great, and the levels sound so incorrect that it's almost like the FM was deleted. I've hosted the old line-out rip I found HERE (Thread 237070) if you're interested in comparing Miyako (Stage 1).

Regardless I genuinely appreciate your kindness :)
