Just found this one in the clearance bin. It looked interesting and had an interesting title. Records were in excellent condition. Russian opera. Did some looking around and it doesn't look like there's been any rereleases of it. And the recordings of it for sale seem out of this world in price. So therefore I thought I would offer it to you.

Ripped from LP's. Recorded in lossless. I cleaned it up, removed clicks and pops, and got rid of the background noise. The one thing I could not do was break it up into reasonable tracks. I can't read Cyrillic, sorry. However, I'm including pics of the cover, the LP's, and all the booklets. If anyone wishes to do any updates, feel free. I have no idea who the recording is, but the composer is S. Gulak-Artemovsky. In the pics is an english synopsis of the opera, but that's all.

Hope you enjoy this. Put some work in it. Feel free to add any modifications and clarifications about the opera to it if you wish. There isn't much online about it, except a Wikipedia article I found.

And please add to rep and keep the thread alive. I try to post stuff you're not going to find anywhere else.

I'm unfamiliar with the composer or the work, but I'm generally a huge fan of the Russian composers, they know how to do expressive works like none other :-D
Thank you very much for the share, adding it to my "to listen" queue ^_^ unfortunately I don't do much cyrillic either, but it appears to be Ukranian, rather than Russian:
