I'm reposting a post that member 'scoretooth2' posting a while back. Lots of cool scores for docs posting there, some released and many other not. Most interestingly, there's lots of really cool artwork on there that I've never seen before and that alone makes checking the page worth checking out.

Has anyone else on here seen this group on Facebook that focuses its discussions on the topic of scores/music that's composed for documentaries?

DOCUMENTING THE SCORE

It seems that there's a SoundCloud page that's associated to the group, as well, and it features links to scores to documentaries that are very unknown or, otherwise, are not often talked about, but whose scores are worthy of being heard. Many are unreleased, which should be of impotance to many on this fourum. Check it out at the following link.

DOCUMENTING THE SCORE: THE OFFICIAL SOUNDCLOUD PAGE
I suppose that there must be some ay to 'Rip" these tracks from the site, but I don't know how to do that. If anyone does, and wants to share, then please do so here.

Thanks!

Again, very cool!

There are many ways to download online MP3s like those on Soundcloud, but my favourite is JDownloader (http://jdownloader.org/home/index?s=lng_en). You can download sets as albums to include the artwork, and it's very customizable. Just copy the link and JDownloader grabs everything.

Yes, those links that I shared are still reliable resources for discovering NEW and RARE scores for documentary soundtracks, so be sure to check them out. :)
