Do you think the logo is real or not?
As i said in another thread the coloured number suggest that it is the last on the PS2 or maybe the last one all together.

Oh well the 2nd still definally fan art even if it's got the little sign. Square would never do a logo like that.

The different colour roman numeral - Final Fantasy IX had the numeral in gold, while VII and VIII were black.

It does look very realistic, but several things work against it - one, they would never, ever produce any image without the registered trademark sign. If they have, it doesn't matter if it's authentic or not, because they won't be able to use it as the final design.

The second one is obviously fake. The spacing is off, the design is wrong, and the picture itself is concept art from Final Fantasy X.

i think what raidenex says is true, the colour of the logo is just not match. is there any colour other than that.

Well, the second graphic definitely looks like a fake, as the titles all use a vector/gradient styling of Yoshitaka Amano's art. As for the former, the image in its lacking of resolution and awkward color scheming in XIII makes me rather skeptical of authenticity. XIII has been officially stated for PS3.

I think it's more like for the first one because thte style of teh logo is the same style as all teh other FF...so it's a high chance the first one is the real one.

there were different versions of the logo's for America and England (i think)but those two look like fan art to me.

all ff game covers are different in each section of the world. 4 example, jpn's ff games almost always show the game logo in aplain white background, while in north america, they show parts of cutscenes or a completly different cover all together. im not sure about europe though, but they may have something different as well.

Yes, the covers differ from region to region... however, the logo is still the same logo everywhere.

hah, that's so awesome. anyways, like alot of people are saying, the first of the two logos looks as if it might be a real logo. i'm kind of 50-50 of the chances that it's the real logo. only 50-50 because i mean ff 12 hasn't even come out yet and they're making logos for ff 13? The first one could be concept art, but without the registered trademark logo, it could be iffy.

The seconf one doesn't even have "Final Fantasy XIII" in Japanese(kanji im assuming) below it like the first one does. All FF logo's have that. That makes the first one more genuine than the other one.

All I can say is stop wetting yourself over it, just wait til S-E makes an official announcement for fuck sakes. Can't stand all this shit about a game that is goign to come out a year after another one that we know more about.

S-E is most likely in development of FFXIII, but I highly doubt they would release to much info, it would sorta ruin the anticipation for FFXII if you are being drawn towards FFXIII.

Sorry, but you read them putting XI on the 360 as a complete system change. They are just putting XI on the 360 because of the online capabilities, not to switch over the whole series to the "box". Think about it, if they DID switch over to Microsoft... there'd be hell to pay... :notgood:

I think that the very first one at the top is more likley to be the offaical logo because with all the FFs (or at least the ones I have) have a underline underneath the acual FF title (go on, check!!)

When i make my custom DVD case's, i always add those copyright marks, thats what makes it seem real, the small details.

We've already coveres all this! I threw the second one in for the heck of it. And now 12 isn't the last one! (Better not be anyway.) People keep say the same thing over and over again. Why hasn't someone closed this???

First one isn't genuine at all. It's just probably done by someone that's either bad at drawing or that they used Photoshop.

FFXIII Is going to be on the PS3, Square Enix said so at E3. Neither of those are the logo, the real logo was shown at E3 and looks like this: http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/rpg/finalfantasy13/index.php. SE also annouced that there will be two other FF XIII along with FF XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which can be found here: http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/rpg/finalfantasyversus13/index.php which will be also for the PS3, and Final Fantasy Agito XIII which can be found here: http://www.gamespot.com/mobile/rpg/finalfantasyagitoxiii/index.php, and that will be for the cell phone. The (r) after it in the second one, would be put up by a more observant fan artist, who wished either to deceive people into thinking it's the real logo, or to simply be true to the style of the logos. I've never seen the logo acually be released prior to the game's completion with the exception of FFXII. There is not any game on the shelves, then the logo will not go public. The logos are both fan art. One of them was simply done by someone with reverence to the fact that Final Fantasy is a copyrigted trade mark.

Might I just say...this topic is really really old.
