Its called the "Ending Theme" by Nobuo Uematsu. I like everything on the Soundtrack NOT done by Uematsu. Everything done Hamauzu great. Some of Nakano's songs are good to.

I might be alone here but i really didnt like the music in X. I dont think anything stands out like music does for me in VII or VIII. Nothing got me hyped up or sad or whatever the music called for. No, did not like it at all....IMO.

I am into FFVII but hated the movie.

Traditional Japanese fun is the "Calling" from the end of Advent Children where he rides on bike to see you know who..

Absolute favorite has to be "The Breeze" FFII, arranged version on the FF N Generation Cd.

Masashi Hamauzu at his best! (I assume it's Hamauzu because of the piano-heavy composition.) As usual, it sounds like he's pounding his fists on the piano keys in the background... but this time it actually sounds GREAT!

I miss his SaGa Frontier 2 style, though...

I wasn't as fond of FFX's soundtrack as FFVIII's, but there are certain songs in it that I really like in it that I never seem to get tired of listening to:

and a few vocal songs such as: Suteki da Ne, Morning Glow, Feel

Attack is a pretty awesome song too, but I think that's mostly because of how well it fit at that point in the story.. (the wedding)

Btw, I urge you all who like FF songs to look up some of the Chrono Cross OST songs on youtube. Good intro ones are: Time's Scar, Dreams of the shore near another world, and Time of the dreamwatch.

Yeah, Chrono Cross's OST is Mitsuda at his best and the only soundtrack where I can count the tracks I don't listen to on one hand. If you haven't heard it, try Mitsuda's Xenogears:CREID or the original Xenogears OST. Or both if this site has them. Before Chrono Cross, I considered those Mitsuda's best compositions.

Nobuo will always be number one I guess, but I just have to admit that, for me, Yasunori Mitsuda is even greater... Chrono Cross is the best soundtrack I ever heard. And music is one of the best aspects in Xenogears. I think he also did the ost for Vagrant Story. And even people who say that they don't like VS still admit that the music is awsome. I also think that Mitsuda and Nobuo made the Chrono Trigger ost togeather. I know this is not the thread for this, but I couldn't help myself to miss the subject....
