This was the FIRST CD I had of John Williams... before I even KNEW who he was... or ANYTHING about him.

I would listen to this CD when I was in certain moods, or when I was cleaning my room, whenever I needed to calm and focus.

Then in 1997 when The Lost World came out, I bought my first CD of the score... and then realized that this JOHN WILLIAMS guy had done the music to Jurassic Park as well!... and Star Wars... and then that this CD Id loved and listened to the point of being scratched to barely playable... was John Williams... and that Id already been listening to him for years...

Fast forward to a few years ago I began working at Universal Orlando and in the Central Park area (next to the Back to the Future vehicles), I was surprised to hear that many of the tracks from this album actually played there too!

Its... been an album that has truly been there for me almost my entire life. My entire musical life for sure.

The first John Williams I had was "Earthquake" I bought it in the 70th I canot remind me the exactly the year 75 or76? anyway it was a vinyl, and from that moment I bought all the Williams I could find, but I already know who was John Williams, my soundtrack collection was started in 1958. But cannot remind me my first disc I think it was Jungle Book from Mikl�s R�zsa? And now I still continue with John Williams, I never miss one. Well I think? Not only soundtracks of course. I love any kind of Soundtracks? The composers have a lot of inspiration to create a music for a film. But I only follow for everything's two composers Jerry Goldsmith and John Williams. Of course I love them all but not follow them, only from the film I saw. :)

I love the score to earthquake (not quite as much as Towering Inferno and Poseidon Adventure) heh... I love those disaster scores though!

I love Jerry Goldsmith too! I continue to study Williams and that's whats inspired me to write film music.
