Hello, I want to upload some fairly rare and common Soundtracks (tagged better). I want to upload the Videogame Soundtrack to YouTube and put a link in the description with a download link on mediafire. What Upload Website is the best for this kind of stuff? Is mediafire the best? It must be free to create an account there though.

But is this even legal? I see a lot of people uploading soundtracks on the net and also uploading it to YouTube. How can I check if it is legal to upload the specific videogame soundtrack and where should I upload it to? I think googledrive is dangerous since it's connected with your email and that's hardly safe. But mediafire is better isn't it?

Which free site is best for uploading videogame soundtracks? What happens if I upload any soundtrack to YouTube? Is this dangerous for my YouTube Account? Will I get copyright strike? Is this secure to upload soundtracks to YouTube and put a download link in the description? Cause this is my favorite way of exploring new music.

If you don't put links like the link to a regular download website, like most people has the habbit to pass download links to soundtracks, but linking to something more of a download website rather than choosing where to upload it. In my vision it's not very possible to have your channel or video taken by posting DL links here if you want to share that music to YouTube. I guess you can use anything you want?? I saw people doing that thing too, so it's probably legal and safe. It is not legal to the composer, seller... The file can be removed, it's legal if the video can't be removed. If the file is not removed and the video can be taken, it's not legal then. Then, you can't really post it... You can upload it anywhere you want, but it's your job to keep the file safe from being taken.

Don't really get what you're trying to say. Maybe I'm stupid, so you think it's a bad idea to put a download link in the description of the youtube video soundtrack? And can I upload the soundtrack to mediafire with no worries?

always sketchy.
link from youtube description working sometimes, not always.
mediafire (others too) ok, but may taken down if report.

legal depend on living country, but sketchy always (US request remove or copyright strike, even location living is ok)

In my vision it is because it's only a bad idea to follow if you don't upload it in the right place. It's just that your video won't be taken. It won't, if you use a specific program to put music from computer in video, post it to YouTube and then you can post even if you put download links for it. You have to upload somewhere that the file can't be taken easily for copyright. Do you have MEGA? In case you have it, it helps with these problems with link that can form.

So what if I upload each track of the album to YouTube (separate videos) and put a MEGA download link in the description of each video. Would that be dangerous? Will my YouTube account get some warning? What about MEGA? Is it safe to upload any soundtrack on there?

If you get MEGA, I promise that everything will go well if you upload there. You need to create a few accounts. Just follow what I have to tell about it. You can start your channel in this manner: who will download the soundtrack in MEGA you will choose here. MEGA will be the safest place if you do what I tell to get what you want. You will just need to be open to receive contact of the viewers here of the videos and at MEGA, upload the files and SELECT share the DL links without the key to the file directly in MEGA, something which you have to give for them. It's like you putted a 'block' around those who can take the file for copyright. When you choose the share link without key, you take the key of the file and send them and you will be choosing who will download. In MEGA this gets you a way to solve that problem to you. You have to do some accounts here to get what you want. No problem exists, I promise you
