Darren Hanlon - another awesome musical songwriter fellow, I say!

I saw him live about a month ago and it was just great - equal parts intimate and rocking fun. He's a really friendly, funny guy, and he just writes a bunch of honest, silly and/or witty tunes full of clever, cute lyrics and wordplay that rarely fail to make me smile. He's going to be heading off on a US tour sometime soon I think too.

So yeah, I dig. You should too. Listen!

I like, definitely. "Hiccups" especially. I'll watch for him to go on that US tour. He was the guy you wrote up an LJ entry about, right? I think I remember thinking that sounded like a pretty cool show. I'd definitely like to go.

yeah, most of the songs online are his more mellow stuff. He does have a good amount of faster, heavier songs though. But if you don't like his general style, then that's that I suppose.

And yeah, this is the guy I wrote an LJ entry about. One of the best shows I've been to.
