Long time Final fantasy fan here.
I thought of checking what you guys think of the new voices for our beloved characters in the Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Do you like the new Voices for your characters?

- Me personally i like them all except for Sephiroth.
Miss his deep and just so fitting voice, hope George comes back.

What's your take on it all?

A bit sad really about the matter that they replaced the Advent Children cast for this new cast of Voice actors, Reno won't be the same without Quinton..

Wait, WHAT?! Your saying that they didn't even know?! I got No problems with the new cast atm except for Sephiroth, but that you are saying really takes the "Cake".

Yes.. The voice actors were replaced and Square didn't tell them, That's why I'm a bit bummed about Quinton not returning in the remake.
Many of us Dreamt that one day we would get a remake with these voice actors playing our favorite characters, now we know that ain't happening for sure. I went as well over on Twitter to see if Quinton had anything to say about it and I found something about a "Operation Reunion" tweet that he made. It's some sort of Petition, a campaign that let us get our favorite voice actors back as well as keeping the new ones. I remember as well that we got Type-0 in English this way as well, their name were "Operation Suzaku". Highly suggest that you should go and Sign it! since you to seem a bit sad of George not going to be playing as Sephiroth.

Square said that they wanted a new approach to this remake, so they went with new voices to give a different vibe to all characters. But, they also said that all previous actors will be still doing the VA on all the other media, just not this game.
Its not a big deal for me to be honest.

I actually prefer the new voices over the old ones. They sounded more anime-y and less natural, like the excellent voice direction of Final Fantasy XV
