Why does FFVII have so many fans that really think there`s more to the game that is possible to actualy play??. It happens a lot more with FFVII than any other FF or any RPG.:/

Plus, this doesn`t only happen forums, people have dedicated huge websites in which they spread around endless crappy "secrets".

But why with FFVII?? People have debugged the game, in which they have found numerous evidence in which Aeris culd have be planned to return, but she doesn`t....:(

because 7 was the most popular game in the series, people have become so craved for more that they make crap up to calm their minds and the minds of other fans desperate enough to believe them

True, i recently played it again and i found it very slow. Maybe it didn`t survive the test of time. But your right, before recently i didn`t play it for nearly 3 years.

FFVII was always a game ridden with fanboy rants. Always, ever since the first guy played and finished the game. To each Prak, stands 10 fanboys, if not more. You can't stop them. They're more than us and they will continue.

I just don`t get why FFV7 not FF8,9 or 10 (not to mention the previous games) are not like this.

FVII was the first FF these kids have played (I'm included) so they think it's an awesome thing.

It's popular because of the ridiculous amount of advertising it received. The flashy cutscenes the tv ads showed drew in people who didn't usually play RPGs. The simple story and lack of any real challenge ensured that they'd complete it. Then they went out and told all their silly little friends about it. None of the games since then got the same ad blitz.

Possible, don`t get me wrong, i love FFVII, it was the first epic game i ever played but i think after playing it again it has lost something about it. And with all this rumours and fanboys everywhere it`s quite easy to get sick of it.

Its interesting to read the utter garbage that people conceive, but realisticly i never hype over anything till i see it you cant fully appreciate a game untill you understand it or have Finished it.

Sure FFVII deserves its credits it pioneered as to what comes after it.
let people justify themselves how they want to i dont think any of the series deserves trashing.

Personaly,FF7 is my favourite.AS for rumours,there not just tied down to ff7.There will always be idiots making up stupid cheats and secrets for games,and,well anything.It dosent make it any better or worse of a game.
