Hi all!
A good friend of mine, who is very active and respected in the "Knight Rider" fan community here in the U.S., has worked with Don Peake directly to offer up over 20 previously unreleased scores from episodes of the classic series, however these are the raw digitizations of the analog tapes and have not been cleaned up or remastered in any way. Currently, the scores are up for sale for basically $10 each at https://www.kittstillrocks.com/knight-rider-online-store/Don-Peake-Soundtracks-c33981009, but these are 192kbps MP3 files. My friend has access to the original uncompressed WAV files for all of the episodes and is looking for anyone out there who has the expertise and talent to help with remastering them.
Since I know there are many people in these forums who enjoy the challenge of undertaking these kinds of projects, I wanted to see if there is anyone who would be willing to donate their time and skill to the cause. I don't know if there would be any kind of monetary compensation, but I do know that both my friend and Don have little to work with in that regard at the moment.
Thanks for any help any of you can give, even if it's pointing in the direction of some low cost professional services out there!
