Hi all!

A good friend of mine, who is very active and respected in the "Knight Rider" fan community here in the U.S., has worked with Don Peake directly to offer up over 20 previously unreleased scores from episodes of the classic series, however these are the raw digitizations of the analog tapes and have not been cleaned up or remastered in any way. Currently, the scores are up for sale for basically $10 each at https://www.kittstillrocks.com/knight-rider-online-store/Don-Peake-Soundtracks-c33981009, but these are 192kbps MP3 files. My friend has access to the original uncompressed WAV files for all of the episodes and is looking for anyone out there who has the expertise and talent to help with remastering them.

Since I know there are many people in these forums who enjoy the challenge of undertaking these kinds of projects, I wanted to see if there is anyone who would be willing to donate their time and skill to the cause. I don't know if there would be any kind of monetary compensation, but I do know that both my friend and Don have little to work with in that regard at the moment.

Thanks for any help any of you can give, even if it's pointing in the direction of some low cost professional services out there!

Hi Adamki2000,

Sorry I'm late on finding this thread, but I hope you and your friend (Joe, right?) are still seeking help with remastering these tracks because I think I can help. Since I discovered these new Knight Rider scores for sale, I've purchased them all and over the past few weeks have been working on exactly the kind of remastering you describe. This was originally for my own edification but if there would be wider interest I would be glad to help out, free of charge. I'll send you a PM with details.

Thanks,
Bandit

Hi Bandit,

I've tried replying to your PM multiple times but I don't think any of them are going through. Thank you so much for your offer of free help with the scores! Of course I will gladly put you in touch with Joe, his Email is [email protected]. Thanks again!

Sincerely,
Adam

Hi Adam,

Terribly sorry about the miscommunication, I wasn't getting notified of your PMs and hadn't checked in manually for a while due to being busy. I will email Joe directly with further info and some samples of what I've put together so far and see what he thinks. Again, my apologies for the delay!

LOL, just found the email notifications, buried in my spam folder...jeez! :D
