I was walking down the street one day
And then I heard this man say
Life sucks, I'm not rich
And I said aw cheer up you son of a bitch
He said but I just lost my girl
I said hey it's the same all over the world
I kept walking and made a note
And came across a man whose car just broke
He said, I just had to walk 2 miles
I said, cheer up at least you weren't eaten by crocodiles
I kept walking and a woman passed and said
I just lost my job and I might lose my head
I said cheer up, you might have lost your job
But that means there's less chance of you getting robbed
I kept walking and took a look behind
Oh goodness, what did I find?
A line of people waiting to kick my ass
So I took off and knocked over a barrel of trash
I told myself, cheer up it could be worse
That could be me in the back of that hearse
So I'll go on tomorrow be as it may
And I'll live on to see another day

Erm.. There's some good things about this poem, yet, It's not "Worded" right to fit the structure? Something like that.

Eh I'm serious when I say drop the rhyming, it's not a requisite for a good flowing poem. I mean, girl - world? I have to admit I chuckled at miles - crocodiles. It makes it harder to take a poem seriously when the lines only make you laugh. I'm not bitching here, but you should atleast try it.

Not really, I'm a regular guy whose mood changes just like everyone else.

I am trying to avoid the rhyming, but I could not resist on this one. The rhyming gives it that sing-song silly type feel to it. But from here on out I will try to avoid the rhyming.

Most normal guys don't have mood swings.

mood does not exist, but a frame of mind does!!!!!!!!

Most normal guys don't have mood swings.

And mood swings are usually considered over short terms not a few months.

Frame of mind describes it more accurately anyway.

This actually reminds me a little of Come Out Fighting.

Which is a pretty swell song, by the way.
