My favorite party was definitely Tidus, Rikku, and Auron. Esp. when I jacked up Rikku's HP, giving her even more than Tidus or Yuna...and gave her Full-Life. Those three were my favorite characters in the game. Although Wakka had his good points, too.
What about you guys? Which trio did you make the most use of?

Sticking to three characters would be pretty ridiculous. After all, it takes almost no time to cycle through all the characters. Since the AP is the same for each character no matter how many participate, using as many as possible in every fight is a sure-fire way to ensure you'll be ready for any situation the game can throw at you.

Mine are Kimahri, Tidus and Wakka.

Yuna, Wakka, Rikku. Yuna cuz she has the summons, Rikku cuz she is my fav (and she has about 27500 HP), and Wakka cuz he is the only other one with a mastered weapon. Actually, i have Auron with a mastered weapon, but something about me bugs him... i dunno what it is. i use tidus sometimes cuz his HP is about 27500. i never used kimahri :P

I use anyone who need training. But I like to use Auron, Yuna and Wakka coz he's like my strongest.

During the game, I relied heavily on Wakka, Lulu, and Auron. The three proved to be one of the best offensive parties out there.

At the end of the game when everyone is maxed out, I just use Wakka, Rikku, and Tidus.

Tidus, Wakka and Auron mostly. Sometime Yuna replaces Wakka.

My favourite team was...Wakka, Tidus and Lu. I was upset that I couldn't rely on Kimahri and Yuna was just too sweet. Had to get the job done.

rikku tidus and auron..... i dont know y but kimahri was only good towards the beginning of the game so i used rikku for steal and mug.... and auron for heave damage tideus had deathstrike so he helped 2

I use Tidus Rikku and Wakka, because theyre the three that can do underwater battles. I use Yuna when necessary but All my chars are pretty much maxed out so I usually dont need to :P

Kimari is good if you bring him through Wakkas or Aurons sphere grid.

Wakka was by far the strongest in the game. =)

My favorite to use are Lulu, Kimari and Auron. Although a healthy cycle of characters is needed.

I probably like to use Rikku, Wakka and Tidus most of the time, but I try to rotate in every battle and work up everyone. The previously mentioned three also have the most useful limits.

Yuna - She is the strongest character I have, her magic is higher than Lulu's, cause I got her to learn Black Magic as well as White Magic. Her HP is high and she has her summoning abilities.

Lulu - She doesn't have one of the high HP's but her magic still comes in handy, especially Doublecast.

Wakka - He has a high HP and some really good attacks.

mine would be aruon wakka and yuna

mine would be auron for strength tidus for speed and a bit of strength and yuna for magic and healing

The three people I used 'often' are Kimahri, Auron and Rikku. I never replaced Kimahri in my party.

kimari was shit while my other characters were doing 800 + damge he was going 200 odd so i didnt use him i used auron, tidus and yuna, but i also used tidus, lulu and wakka, but my best party is the first

tsk tsk. insulting one of my favorite ff characters. as what DW said, he is good if you bring him through wakka/auron's grid. -_- besides, i like blue mages.

Wakka was quick and had excellent Evasion.

Lulu with her Doublecast and the 2 MP cost thing or whatever. haha.

And Kimahri I always took through just about everyone's Sphere Grid randomly so he always ended up my best character.

my first party is Auron, Wakka, and Yuna. If they get injured, I pull them out and replace them with Tidus, Lulu, and Rikku (b/c I couldn't get Kimahri's celestial weapon, I had to create it).

The Sphere Grid basically allowed me to customize my heroes how i pleased so picked my party on how much i liked them as characters (not counting Yuna i just liked her summons)

I started out with Tidus, Auron, Wakka, and changed where I needed to.

Auron, Tidus & Wakka as they have the strongest stats, break HP limit, break damage limit and have the celestial weapons, they own!

tidus, with break damage limit and break hp limit, auron with break damage limit, and yuna with all aeons

Favourite party if I can remember is Auron, Lulu & Wakka. Although I don't really stick with specific people.

That's the party I often use too. I start out with tem at least. They're very useful for various reasons. Rikku can steal. yuna can call aeons. Tidus can haste the party and slow the enemy. Plus, they're the 3 fastest, so I can siwtch anyone in at the beginning if I need to and all 3 party
members can get a turn before the enemy attacks.

I don't usually stick to one formation, but I must say my fav party is auron, wakka and Lu. well, usually auorun and lulu are in my party more than any other character.

I do this constantly to get my whole parties stats up. Its an wsome system IMO.

These are my only decent characters, except for Lulu who works well till macalania. But now i am going to try and gett Full Stats for all woohoo

Have everything here, wakka with 1200 mp and 45000 hp, same goes for the rest. Yuna hits 99999 with her weapon, wakka has all limitbreaks, so allotta dmg, they all have entrust so all overdrives go to wakka/yuna if needed.
Auron is just good when ambushed or sumthing, with his 1st strike weapon.

They're my most used party. If I change the party, I usually change it to - Yuna, Wakka and Tidus.

I always have Yuna for three reasons - 1. Aeons 2. She knows Black and White Magic 3. She's just plain awesome, lol.

Yuna - Aeons.
Wakka - Attack reels.
Tidus - Blitz ace
Auron - Various reasons
Rikku - Various reasons
LuLu - Various reasons
Khimari - Various reasons
That's basically the order of efficiency, so The top 4 were the most used for me.

I never finished the game so my characters were'nt very strong....
but I remember my wakka was stronger than my Aeons and Kimari was strong in black maic too*almost as much as lulu*...
Also I remember rikku were in black magic too...but she had all her formal abillity:p....

Meh, in my game all charas had all abilities with equal stats, the only selection reasons were range attacks and overdrives:p Everyone had all magics and all attack skills:p

It changes for me depending on what I'm doing, but normally I have Lulu, Auron, and Tidus out.

I normally have Tidus,Wakka and Auron in my party. pretty strong characters huh.

It depends in different situation I guess. Through out the standard game I pretty much used mainly: Wakka, Auron, and Lulu; sometimes I swapped Lulu with Tidus. I don't tend to swap the characters around much, because my character can normally kill each average monster in 1 hit through the game. Switching them and do weaker attack so the enemy stay alive to give them all exp is really time consuming. I only do that when I found a nice location to stay for a few hours and level up.

And when fighting Super monsters in the Monster Arena, I tend to use Wakka, Tidus, and a really weak character (usually kimahru), so I can finish them the battle quickly with relentless amount of blitz ace and attack reel. With that party I can kill Nemesis in less that 5mins or so.

And with Dark Aeon, my party tends to be Auron, Rikku and Yuna, mainly because their ultimate weapon is the not that hard to get compare to the others.

Tidus, Auron and Yuna. Granted that Yuna has learned most of Lulu's abilities as well as all of her own, and Tidus and Auron are done their part. They're unbeatable.

Ok So Is This Thread Regarding The Advanced Sphere Grid? Because With It The Characters Dont Have Much Of A Difference And the only Thing Setting Them Apart Is Their Overdrives.

And The Three Best Overdrives In The Game Belong To Tidus Wakka And Lulu Because Once Youre Doing 99k A Hit On Mostly All Enemies And have A Relatively Maxxed Sphere grid With these Three Multi Hit Overdrives Are The Way To Go...

With Blitz Ace, Attack Reels And Lulus Magic Boosting thing I Can Churn Out Over 2 Million Damage A Turn...

Aurons celestial weapon is quite sneaky with it's first strike ability. Also his banishing blade puts full break on the enemy.

Tidus because of his blitz ace.

Yuna to heal every one.

Also their fully powered up celestial weapons are the easiest to get, though Tidus's is still damn hard to get. Also i only got their armour with 4 slots to put auto-haste, auto-phoenix, ribbon and break HP limit.

Fair enough hers is easy. Aurons is quite easy but time consuming. I think Tidus is very annoying. Also has anyone got tips for that race to get the sigil.

use the d-pad. sometimes the course is set up in your favor, sometimes not. make sure you get ahead of the other rider before you make the first big turn. even the one time i did get 0:0.0, i did get hit by a bird. In order to qualify for 0:0.0, you need to either get:

13 balloons, 0 hits with birds
or
15 balloons, 1 hit with bird

Oh yeah, don't get too frustrated, cuz that screws up your concentration.

yuna, rikku & tidus switched out with auron & lulu.

Well, I uses them all at varying points, but my favorites are.

Tidus because of his speed and his attack was pretty strong

Auron because of his strength

Lulu for black magic.

I only switched in Yuna when I needed healing or a summon, then quickly switched her out. Kimahri was good sometimes. Rikku I hardly ever used.

But Im playing through the game again, and Im using Kimahri alot more now then my first time through.

Auron, Yuna, and Wakka.

Auron: to bash things close up
Wakka:to bash things far away
Yuna: to heal them while they do it

Tidus (so funny boy), kimahri (a nice person), rikku and auron

Auron: hurts stuff
Rikku: Steals stuff (plus eye candy)
LuLu: Blows stuff up
