He has a sphere grid just to tie in with the game, but I heard if you don't use him in the battle (i.e. make him defend every turn), he will recieve less S.Lvls and so will not be as strong when battling his different forms later on in the game.

You only use Seymour once during the entire game, and it's the only chance you'll ever get to see his Overdrive. I did it, and it took me a long time to get his guage filled completely.

seymour overdrive are called REQUIEM. which you can see at the highbridge where you will have to fight him the second time. he will use this to make all people suronding him into a pyreflies including maester kinoc.

about this seymour guy, what this yukon said that go to the back of the room and there will be a stairs right, and go down ?????. you can't even pass that things, the only time where you can pass that thing is in ff-x2. so seymour cannot be played anymore

not true, you have to go down it, to get the sun crest, but this just produces a replica of the same room with a chest in it, so you go down again to go to the previous room

you get the sun crest before the stairs. i remember that. that mean just behind yunalesca . you can never pass the stairs. you can only pass the stairs in ffx-2 when you have to get the the broken sphere.trust me , you will never pass the stairs.
