so what fight (boss) did u think was best in the game? we all know sephiroth (perhaps ruby weapon) is the hardest but which was the funist.
i personly think godo is the hardest boss in the game with a lv31 yuffie!

I picked Rufus. All the guy can do is stand there with a shotgun and shoot and he needs a panther/wolf/thing to watch his back. I would have picked Palmer if I were not so grossly insulted by him.

Yeah gotta love that final battle. I usually just stand there until he casts supernova and kill him after it because its so damn cool.

palmer. its worth the cost of the game just to see him get hit by a truck, not that im saying there is anything wrong with the rest of the game, the whole game kicks major ass, but that part is golden.

I like none of the fights on there I like the final turk fight the best.

The first time round it provided quite a challenge as I was 7 and was havig trouble figuring out which element each person drained

Fighting Palmer is pretty funny because after you beat him he gets hit by the truck that just pops out of nowhere...so random.

Palmers battle was just easy. though it was funny at the end of it. Seph fight at the end was probably the best though

Safer Sephrioth. The atmosphere , the adrenaline rush. Its all there , apart from one thing. The challenge. He's weak as hell! Comoe on everyone , who honestly thought they were up for the biggest , longest , most intense fight ever only to find out that you barely had to lift your finger to win?

Oooo, I hated beating Hojo, 'Stop, stop, silence, silence, stop, stop, silence, silence.' Those are the only moves it uses on me! I wonder what kind of alchohol he drank in his first stage ??? *clueless and dreamy* I gotta get my hands on some o' that stuff. hehehe

My favourite is definitely the one against the underwater Weapon, I don't remember its name... And after that the one against the Ruby Weapon

best fight to me was when one of the weapons got his ass towards Midgar
that shit got me so pumped i slapped my mom in the face just for talking to me(at her revenge, she threw a BOOT right in my face when i finished the game)

funniest fight was the first time i got into a fight with a Tonberry

hardest was probably Yuffie's dad at the pagoda

Safer Sephiroth except for the fact that it takes him as much time as it took us to play the game summoning Super Nova

lol I definately think the palmer fight is class at the end with the truck but the hardest fight was wen i beat emerald weapon took me bout 20 tries lol!

well, i have to say most fights were easy but when i used my initial equipment no accessory and materia challenge through the game one time i really enjoyed beating bizzaro and safer sephiroth, hard but not impossible

Palmer has it hands down. First he fights like a ninny, then he almost gets shreded by the propeller of the "Tiny Bronco", and then he gets hit by a truck. Ohhh, pure genius.

Once and again if i'm in the mood (angry) I go and pay a very special visit to my old time friend the Midgar Zolom, I slay as many of them as possible no that i'm a higher level than I was before!

When I first started out playing FFVII it just kept killin me!!!

Why would you slay a crapload od Zoloms? They give mediocre exp. and AP. Good creatures for leveling up are as follows:
"Head Hunters", found outside of Mideel
"Scissors", found inside of Northern Crater
"Magic Pot", found inside of Northern Crater
and,
Most other creatures in the Northern Crater give pretty good exp. and AP. as well.

Palmer was the funniest batle for sure! The truck just came out of no where!

I just noticed, but this is the "funniest battle". What's so funny about the Safer Sephiroth battle? Or any of the others for that matter?

The Hojo fight

Palmer is the best (With his crazy dancing) but that Mako Gun attack he has is quite nasty..

Sevior Sepiroth is too easy -.- one onmislash and a 4x-cut ko him -.- i found that water thingi weapon and ruby was hard

I've had a lot of fun beating certain enemies (except Ruby + Emerald since I cannot beat them...yet) but I seperated them into certain categories. Behold, my great list of worthy advasaries.
Touphest to beat for HP: PROUD CLOD!!! That bastard took a long time to take down. Esecially since I had to rip it apart with KotR/Quadra Magic to really hasten the fight.
Toughest physical opponent: It would be the Lost Number's notorious aftereffect from being pummeled by physical attacks. I HATED that punk, merely for its heavy damage attacks it constantly used. But at least he didn't have a "Limit Break" he used before he died.
Toughest magical opponent: Alright, kiddies. This was a tie between Rapps, Godo and Lost Number's magical form. Rapps was hard because you don't have any materia to fight with: Only items and Limits. I use Barret to Mindblow his MP to prevent the oh-so deadly Aero3 attack, if I didn't accumulate Aeris's Great Gospel. That was the fastest battle I had with Rapps, when I used Aeris on LV4 Limits + Vincent on his LV2. Gigas and Great Gospel really pulled him apart without any consequences. (Not to mention the constant Climhazzard I pulled on him with Cloud.) For Godo, I only had to use Yuffie, which is similar to the no-magic handicap Rapps got, except it's 1-on-1. Barrier/Haste/Regen really pulled through for me, not to mention her effective limits. As for the Magical Lost Number, the only way is Limits. I'd normally start with Dice + Climhazzard, then Aeris's Fury Brand, then Dice + Climhazzard.
Most memorable battle: Jenova-BIRTH. I was pumped up from Aeris's death and I really hated Sephy-boy right then and there. After equiping my useful Water Ring, Cloud kept on pummeling that monster, gaining Aqualung in the process. Yes, I loved that battle. It was no different than her DEATH counterpart, but that felt more of a normal-battle-that-got-in-my-way kinda feel to it.
Easiest battle: Two words. Air Buster. All I had to do was Big Shot him from behind, then Braver him from behind and TA-DA!! There he goes.

The weapons. To me the only REALLY hard fights in the game. I think the robot boss (the first time the boss music plays) too. He was a bitch.
