Guys, this is the closest one ever! How did we miss this!?

It's all arranged incorrectly and all over the place and has some very very small SFX around but they end up matching with the sound considering, you know, Silent Hill

Can anyone help arrange this?

There are no SFX in it (not ones coming from the film at least), this is a real leak. It was sold in FLAC and MP3 by Digital River, a shady Canadian label company that ceased to exist some time ago (not to be confused with a different company by the same name). I honestly have no idea what's with some of the nonsensical mixing going on in this release and the track naming is all over the place. When I mailed them they said apparently their current guy responsible for the album was terrible and they were assigning someone to fix it, however soon after they were erased from existence (probably because I notified Jeff Danna, the composer, and he said this was an illegitimate release).

I've been working on making a complete soundtrack for years now, it ended up being an on and off hobby of mine. This leak greatly sped up the process and I feel I am close to finishing it, including various versions of some tracks (film versions, album versions, versions played in special features etc.). However, I still have no idea when it will be done for good, I really want to make sure every track is as close to the real one as possible.

I've uploaded the film version of "The Accident" on YouTube for now along with the movie scene it plays at, you can take a look here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuxTVIaDnlw) if you want and notice the differences between album and film I guess.

Flac?
Here it is (from torrent). (https://we.tl/t-bTJ3vkp5UM) The tracklist order seems to be a mess...

I had purchased this a while back... The album sounded crisp - like it was mastered from legit files. It made little sense to me at the time because a long awaited soundtrack release like this would likely have had a vinyl/cd album first. This release came out with absolutely no announcement or fanfare. So, from what you're saying - it's an illegitimate release, but where did the high quality tracks come from? Like I said, the album sounded as if it had been professionally mastered.

Not even Jeff Danna knows how it got “leaked” so I cannot answer that either, however he himself also confirmed the tracks are his own arranged versions.

Of course, you are free to contact him about it as well, his website is jeffdanna.com.

Oh damn, that's nuts. I mean great in a way since we have it now, but that's nuts.

And I'd love to hear your complete version, no matter how long it takes. I mean, I've waited for official mixes on the film since it came out, whats another few months.
