Does anyone know where to find the Eideleons which are not automatically given to u? I've tried hard but I just cant. I thought i found one in the Castle book library against that creature which is in the book but when i beat him u just get the haste boots. Anyone wanna help me out?

You get Odin from dark matter,which can be bought from treno auction house
You get Ark from pumice, Which is synthesised from 2 pumice pieces at hades' synth shop. You get 1 pumice piece from defeating ark (Automatically get it). You can get the second from a chocograph (Outer island 2 i think, Need gold chocobo for that) Or you can steal 1 from ozma (Hard)

Ark was the only hard eidolon to get, and I still feel he wasnt all that worth to get. The only reason he was hard was because you had to fight Ozma though, after that everything was pretty easy

You don;t have to fight Ozma to get one. I managed to do it without defeating him or her or whatever the marble thing is!

i found Fenrir but i sold his gem on accident and i couldnt find another anywhere :-(

no, i don't think hades gives you one. you get one from fighting ark,and one from ozma.that's it (i think. i'm not entirely sure)

you dont fight ark, there is an ark you fight, but i dont think you get a pumice piece from him.

yeah, you fight ark, in the weird place where you can't use magic and then you get a pumice peice from him.

And "I'm a guy", I think you will find that you get Fenrir stone automatically, you don't need to find it. I am sure the stone is easy enough to find anyway. Besides, don't those stones only sell for like 1gil? Why would you sell it?

Ummm, you get a PUMICE, not a Pumice Piece, for defeating Ozma. You don't have to synth anything if you fight Ozma.

it isnt that hard to find them... you justneed to know where to look for them. But, geting ark is hard, DAMN YOU OZMA! Why wont you just die! :o

=) Im not entirely certain on this, but i don't think you need to beat ozma to get ark, at least you don't in my version of the game, you get one from defeating ark and the other from digging with the chocobo

To clairfy: (cuz this is so confusing)

You learn Ark from a Pumice. You can get a Pumice in a few ways. You can synth two pumice pieces together at Hades' synth shop, and you win one after defeating Ozma.

There are four Pumice Pieces in the game. You get one from defeating Ark in Oeivert, and a second in a Chocograph. Those two are the most common ones to synth for a Pumice. To get the other two pieces, you would have to synth a Pumice and a Hammer, and the other by stealing it from Ozma (both are a little unnecessary if you're trying to learn Ark being that you would have or be getting a Pumice in the process).

The other summons aren't so hard to get. Ramuh, Carby, Leviathan, Ifrit, Shiva, Atomos, and Bahamut, and Madeen are given to you by advancing in the story. You should always have access to Pheonix, and Fenrir is given to you through initial equipment. You only have to work for Odin and Ark, and neither are all that hard to get.

With the exception of Odin, Ark, and Madeen, I believe you can synth the jewels to all of the other summons at Daguerro.
