Yes, the new Zelda game does <I>look</I> pretty great, but I haven't been able to play it yet. So the gameplay is far more important to me than the graphics. And the best Gamecube game ever? Well, no, sorry. Until I finish the game, that judgment will not be made. It's going to take quite an effort for it to surpass RE4 and Paper Mario, for starters.

zelda is more than just graphics. link is one of my fav games characters (not that that improves the game for other ppyl...), and he has awesome weapons. so far it seems to have a good plot (twilight realm thingy, wolf transformation), and lots of violence.

Wow, i hope that it will kick Ocarina's ass. If there's any game capable of doing it - it's Twilight Princess! I hope that Link has some quality new puzzles to solve - because Windwaker smelt a little bit too similar to Ocarina. I didn't mind the cell shading- but Zelda looks stunning now!

It's going to take a lot to beat OOT. That game was original-ish, the Zelda games are all the same now. I'm not really that excited about this game anymore.

Most of the Zelda games have been the exact same, bar a few new items or moves here and there.

Minish Cap, while it essentially had the same plot, was a fresh experience to me for the Zelda series. Four Swords Adventures offered a different element of gameplay, which is one reason I really liked it. Twilight Princess (yes I'm sure we are all tired of the hype), but it rightfully deserves it as far as what I've learned of the game. It is offering new elements of gameplay, and appears to be a new plot; rather than the recycled OH HEY POWER UP THE MASTER SWORD, or OH HEY YOU MUST GET 8 CRYSTAL THINGIES TO GET INTO GANONS TOWER.

This is about as much as I know. In this new one, Link starts off as a farmboy, intil he is drawn into "Hyrules shadow", a shadow version of Hyrule, kind of like Metroid prime 2. There, he turns into a wolf, and is captured by some shadow monsters. He is then released by a girl named Midna, after which they team up to defeat all the monsters of shadow Hyrule. Pretty impresive.

I don't like the whole Shadow Hyrule wolf thing, the wolf parts look really boring. Although it's a new idea I'd rather they still stuck with the normal hack and slash adventure. Whenever they put another 'world' in games it just annoys me. I'm still going to get the game as I've loved most Zelda games.

I am looking foward to this game so much...WW was a great game, but I really want another game in the style of OoT, and TP looks like it is going to do that for me pretty well.

Indeed, or at least have a harder difficulty that can be unlocked or something.

The new gameplay elements and graphics are pretty nice, but the aspect that I'm really stoked about is apparently this world is almost three times the size of Hyrule from Ocarina of Time; over 70 hours of gameplay is something I'm really excited about.

Oh I hope that the three times larger isn't made up of sea or I might just murder everyone at Nintendo ^___^__^_^

I`m personaly realy looking forward to it. I read the special preview in Edge magazine and it looks and sounds great. I`m pleased that Links horse is finnaly back, although i did enjoy sailing across the occean in the Wind Waker i much prefered the horse in Ocarina.

How could anyone enjoy that? There was so much sailing in that game that I'm probably scared to death to ever get on a ship or something now.

Yeah, so did I. But I got real sick of that stupid fish "Hey small fry!".
Still, the sailing starts to get old about the same time you get the ability to ride the cyclones, so it isnt too bad.

The sailing gets boring mere minutes after you start.

But that music starts up! And, like, those weird shark things rock up sometimes....and some seagulls...oh, and land....sometimes.

Wow, I sure was impressed by both the scripted events!
