That's the movie version of the track. When Thor gets hit in the fave with the ball and drops on the floor, the music stops as well!!

Thanks this is freakin' great!

This score has to grow on me.
Far too much throwbacks because Netflix's "Stranger Things" did it first.

The soundtrack on its own sounds like its trying for an Arcade version of the movie.
But when you watch the movie, the score is the last thing on your mind.
That's how good they do at making the movie.

So I'll give this a listen. Thank you.
Maybe I'll understand the motives better.

It�s a new variation of the �Into Eternity� cue from TDW. The Hulk/Widow theme from AoU and Patrick Doyle�s original Thor Theme also return, all recorded by Mothersbaugh.

Unless i'm reading the spectograms wrong, this might be a fake lossless. It's definitely better quality than the 192k FYC we had for a year, but still lossy. The Main Title in the first 10 seconds sounds like 192k...

A lot of recent leaks have had blatant re-sampling from higher res sources, but nothing that really suggests it come from lossy transcoding.

Unless i'm reading the spectograms wrong, this might be a fake lossless. It's definitely better quality than the 192k FYC we had for a year, but still lossy. The Main Title in the first 10 seconds sounds like 192k...

I think that was a stylistic choice to go for the 80's aesthetic. Like Hunter said there's nothing to outright suggest it's fake lossless.

I'd actually never thought of that. I just compared Strange Things Happen from the sessions to the album and made a guess. I have to admit, I love that you can hear the bass line on the sessions more prominently in the last 35 seconds.

yeah i was thinking that... but the fact the 2m31s fits in the exact spot between 2m30 and 2m32 makes me think it was a typo, plus cue numbers going 3m49, 4m31s, 4m51 just looked off to me lol but then again i could be wrong :)
