Today is a very sad day for me and for the Film Music Community, we have lost not just an Exceptional Composer, but a wonderful human being also. But we have his Music, a Great Legacy; that without doubt it will be cherished for generations to come.

RIP monsieur Legrand

His wonderful gift for nostalgic melodies has very little equal in film music, Id say only John Barry can match him.
