If you have not heard the Extended Ultra Edition that came before, there are several extra tracks and some augmentations to others in this even longer edition. I had done some ground work for these extra tracks before, but couldn’t make them work within the mix and so left them out, but now I am happy with how they turned out and decided to arrange them into this longer edition.
Ultra Edition 3.0 uses various Vanglis music from the 25th Anniversary edition, but also other Vangelis movie scores and utilizes many of the movie's deleted scenes, narration and alternate cuts. There are one or two other artists too which I have outlined in new liner notes. I created artwork from scratch and this entire mix was a labor of love about 8 months in the making. I hope you enjoy the listening experience. (Headphones highly recommended) Feel free to leave feedback or suggestions.

Interesting! I know there has been much discussion about blade runner blimpverts, and the artists that provided the music. Also check out the excellent EMS Recombination mix which was contrstruted by some of the more long established members on this forum. In that set there is a bonus forth disc of all Blade Runner Japanese tracks. Your insights could be a whole new wealth of knowledge! ;)

Yes, I definitely have a question I would love your help with. There are three different traditional Japanese pieces used in the film, and two have been identified. The third is still a mystery. Here's the clip used in the film. Can you tell us anything about this?

Wow,. Fantastic! I saw Blade Runner on big screen for the first time in about 1993 for a special showing. And as you can see on the previous page of this thread I will be seeing it again next year but with a live synth orchestra, here in Ireland. I can't wait!!
