Okay, I just recently picked up this game and have gotten pretty far. You see, I'm pretty sure that's it's too late for me to get Anima (cause I can't get into any of the shrines), so I was wondering: is it still possible to beat the game? Also, because I couldn't get Anima, I can't get Yuna's ultimate weapon either, can I?

P.S. Which is better, full life or auto-life?

If you're asking if you can beat the game without Anima, then yes you definately can. While it may make it a little easier, if you don't feel like acquiring Anima, then don't even bother wasting your time.

As for Yuna's Legendary Weapon, it makes no difference whether you get Anima or not. You have to do something different to get it, and I don't want to spoil it for you. If you've got more questions, don't be hesitante to drop me a pm.

EDIT: Full-Life brings people back to life with all their HP, and Auto-Life will bring them back to life one time after they are automatically killed. So if you know a devastating attack is coming that is going to wipe out member(s) of your party, cast Auto-Life. If not, I'd go with Full-Life.

You have to beat all of that woman's aeons, right? I beat all of them up to Yojimbo and now I don't know what to do. Go get the Sisters (don't remember their name)?

No, beating Belgemine's Aeons will do the following:

**WARNING SPOILERS**

After you fight all of the compulsory aeons, down to Bahamut, you must fight the 2 optional aeons (Yojimbo and Anima) to be able to unlock the Chamber of the Fayth for the Magus Sisters. You can't do this without getting Anima and beating Belgemine's version. To get Anima (you probably already know this) you have to use the Destruction treasures found in each Cloister of Trials to unlock the gateway, then Anima will become yours and then you can go and retrieve the Magus Sisters. About Yuna's Nirvana, I can't remember off the top of my head and my guide has disappeared so I'll take a look for you later

Aww... that sucks. Well, if I can't get her ultimate weapon fully powered, do you guys have suggestions for an alternative? What weapon should I start customizing for her?

True but you forgot to tell him where you get anima after get all the temple treasures.Remember the area where you fled from that big fish.Well, later when you get control of cids airship(maybe when fighting sin.)Go to place location and keep searching around the map until you've found a place called Bjaa temple.Go there and swim into the temple.
(warning:You have to fight the fish.I would advise you do the following.)
-Protect yourself from petification.
-Get alot of HP so you don't die in a few hits.
-Alot of healing items and magics.

customize any of yuna's weapon with 60 dark matters to have break damage limit into that weapon.

UltimateFFFan

Well, I usually battle some monsters and I get a Malleable Staff (Four Empty Slots) Then I equip it with Break Damage Limit (Get Dark Matters from Dark Aeons or Some monsters in original/Area Conquest in Arena), Strength+10%, Magic+10%, and either Stonestrike (Petrify Grenades from any Basilisk type monster)

- Break Damage Limit
- One MP Cost
- Magic Booster
- Magic +20%

That's the best magic weapon.

UltimateFFFan

Deathstrike, but Stonestrike is preferable as it affects a larger group of enemies. I agree, but No MP Cost is slightly better than 1 MP Cost

There's no such thing as [No MP Cost] for a weapon. Twin Stars and Three Stars are only temporary during battle.

That's weird, because one of Yuna's Weapons I have has a No MP Cost on it, I got it when I beat Dark Valefor :S

No, Auto-Phoenix is an Armour Ability. We're on about weapons here...... unless it was on an Armour......?

oh my mistake.havent played FFX in a while.at least you dont resort to petty insults like Jander or Prak

Prak
06-06-2005, 01:59 PM
Petty? Oh, you silly, misguided cretin. My insults are seldom petty and never over anything as pointless as a tiny mistake like that, although I would likely offer a correction if I knew it to be erronious. Now, if your error is pointed out and you stand by it anyway, that's another scenario entirely.

UltimateFFFan

To be honest, I'm not suprised they do use "petty" insults (though I would'nt class them as that) if you say that lol, anyway, I'm not sure, No MP Cost may be an armour ability, I haven't played it in a while either

You can get Anima, but if you play the European version you have to pass by Dark Aeons in some spots, and they are strong!!!! very strong... you must use the destruction sphere in every temple in Bevelle temple you must use the sphere to complete the trial so don't bother, Yuna's weapon it's the easiest to get...but find out for yourself

Yuna's Nirvana IS the best but don't worry, Break Hp limit, Auto Phoenix, One Mp Cost are all good options

There's no such thing as [No MP Cost]. Check again if you're unsure.
