So the third movie in the How to Train Your Dragon series is out soon, and my excitement is immeasurable, especially for the music. The movie is releasing February 22nd in the US but earlier in other countries. I'm not sure if it's possible to get the music earlier than the US release date but if anyone could I would love you forever...that being said, the 22nd is good too :)

I know the movie's out in two days in Australia (for whatever reason?) and I wasn't sure if the same could be said for the soundtrack. :)

February 22nd - the official score album release date. It will be released by Back Lot Music.

Preorders for the soundtrack go up on Jan 11, but yeah, the release is still a ways off despite the early movie release in certain territories. According to Film Music Reporter, the CD release is February 1st -- no word if a digital release will be coming sooner. The track listing is also up, so be wary of spoilers:

Sounds awesome

Went to see the movie earlier this week. Great movie, moving. If you get the chance (and you like it), go see it in 3D, well worth it (contrary to so many other movies!!).
Music was great, but most of it was well known from part 1 and 2. Some new themes were created, but don't want to spoiler.
In short, I 'm not expecting too much new in this score.

Similar to the Jason Bourne score situation.
