I don't care if this is already in a thread somewhere, i can't find it. I've been playing a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time, and still the question remains....

HOW IN THE NAME OF ALL THINGS HOLY DO YOU GET ARK!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I know you need to get both pumice pieces (i can only ever get one) and you need to find and fight Hades (WHERE IS THAT LITTLE FUCK?!?!?!?!?), but that's all i can fathom.

Can anybody tell me the relevent information?

do the Chocobo quest mate.one of the maps gives you a pumice piece.not sure which one.try gamefaqs for that info.then beat Hades(he's not hard)and he'll synthisise Pumice for you which will give Dagger Ark.any more problems PM me

You actually need two Pumice Pieces to make a complete Pumice, naturally (as an item, the Pumice Pieces on their own teaches Garnet and Eiko the helpful 'Boost' ability - which makes their Eidolons physically appear each time their summoned, thus causing more damage); one you get for defeating Ark in Oelivert on disc 3, you can get a second one from a treasure chest by locating the 'Outer Island 2' chocograph (I can't remember exactly where it was located however), and a third piece you can steal from Ozma in Chocobo's Air Garden (not easy).

Once you have two pieces, at the end of the game on disc 4, defeat Hades in Memoria (he's hidden in a corner in the room where Quina thinks they're under the ocean), and once he's defeated, he'll then open the ultimate Synthesist Shop for you, where amongst other things, he will Synth a Pumice out of two Pumice Pieces. Equipping the completed Pumice to Garnet will then allow her ot learn Ark - her ultimate Eidolon!
