I have been a member of this forum for several years, probably close to eight at least and I have never been one to contribute because I never really got my hands on much gaming music until today.

Just finished the Smash Direct and decided I wanted the song featured in the ending cinematic, Lifelight, and just finished it a few minutes ago. In doing so, I felt it would be right to also give back to the community who has provided me with so much of my favorite music over the years.

They are exported in FLAC, MP3, and WAV format. I am new to this so it may not be perfect but, hey, it's the thought that counts!

Interesting. Certainly sounds good enough to my untrained ear. Can I ask how you got FLAC/WAV versions of this? The only other place I've seen this is on youtube.

I just exported the audio to that format, along with WAV, since I was creating an MP3 anyway. Again, I am no pro or anything so just kinda doing it fly-by-night! Just something to hold over until the full game releases! :D

Yeah, unfortunately, the FLAC seems to be a lossy (bad) transcode from an originally lossy source. Spectrogram shows a hard ceiling at 16kHz, implying a ~128kbps source. Should just keep it in the original source audio format, no benefit is given from FLAC here.
