I remember when this first came out I skipped it because of the abundance of vocals all around the tracks - I was fed up with all the wailing vocals that was being included in just about everything back then.

Can't remember what made me check into it later on but I am SO glad and grateful that I got the chance to listen to it (and pick it up on CD! Seems like it is not all that easy these days for this stuff.). It was and still is one of the finest albums I have ever stumbled upon. Merethe Soltvedt's voice shines in just about every piece Bergersen writes for her, but it was here when I heard her for the first time and, well, the "first encounter" moment will always be the most memorable of them all.

The early parts of the track "Promise" is unlike anything I've ever experienced. Never before had I heard a solo cello "tickle" feelings so beautifully and so well.

As usual with all things TSFH though, I cannot tell how they came up with those track titles. They just don't seem to reflect the music they represent (to me at least!)

Time to this old CD another spin! It's been a while!
