It's been a long time since I posted anything around here due to being a lot more busy these days with other things, but I noticed that nobody ripped the VC4 OST to this day and there's no official album either so I decided to take the matters into my own hands.

As such, here's full OST GameRIP of Valkyria Chronicles 4 made using PC version's files.

Managed to find names for most of them. I only compared them to the first game's soundtrack and some YouTube videos of 4's soundtrack. The others could be new or from a different entry in the series, no idea.

Apparently there's an option to listen to music ingame with titles after beating the game, so once I finish the game and unlock it, I will post proper track names.

I don't know what the game and its devs were going for here, but the presence of cues from the previous entries - particularly for the title screen - is quite mind boggling. I can imagine references or re-recordings for a sequel score but a direct pull? Shame really. Sakimoto used to write some of his finest tunes for the title screens of this series. It is nice still that the composer was able to drop his trademark Piano pieces a few times here and there. Love those pieces titled 4012 and 4014.

Seem like they also remove the ending theme so i wonderwhich song they used for replacement

4 has completely original main theme.

Not sure how I missed that track at first. What I got through were two tracks that were basically the main titles from the first game. I see where that new theme is now.

Those track name seem pretty arcurate so with 32 new track we may get enough for 1 CD but it seem like Sakimoto doesnt have plan to released the soundtrack


Anyway , the song "Sacrifice (The Minstrel Boy)" isn't composed by Sakimoto arcording to credit scene

Anyone happen to have FLAC?
